When I first started wearing liquid lipstick, I thought I could just take out the tube and throw it on my lips...well not quite. My first encounters with liquid lipsticks were a few messy ones. I didn't know how to apply liquid lipstick and it was frustrating because I couldn't make my lines perfect and when I would clean up my lips with concealer the very pigmented liquid lipstick would get all over my foundation. Eventually I figured out the KEY to liquid lipstick, not only isn't important to exfoliate your lips and line your lips if you're a bigger but the way you HOLD you applicator is really the most important. Applying liquid lipstick is really about applying in small strokes and working with the angles of the applicator. It's also very important that you don't neglect the inner corner of your lips when applying liquid lipstick. After much practicing with liquid lipstick, we all still mess up (not as bad lol) but concealer is another trick to clean up that stubborn liquid lipstick.

    Omg 🙌🏼 Hands down best liquid lipstick tutorial I’ve ever seen!!! 💗 after what seems like...forever 🤷🏼‍♀️, I finally managed to get nude/midtone colors down, but the struggle to get the perfect darker lip seemed impossible. Your explanation on your starting and connecting points, and especially how you switch up the angle of the wand around the Cupid’s bow... 😭🙏🏼🙌🏼😘 UGH. Thank YOU!!!!

    I use the ELF lip exfoliator, too, & I love it! My lips have always had a tendency to get dry & this stuff works so good for me!

    make some lip scrub. brown and granulated sugar work best, and I throw some raspberry tea in or coffee, then add some coconut and vitamin e oil in and stir. it's the most effective for dry lips and this recipe is on par, if not better than, Jeffree Star's 12$ lip scrub.

    I bearly started using liquid lipsticks and getting into them probably in the past year I use the wet n wild liquid lipsticks and he application helps me apply not so much they can be drying but I love the different shade ranges and the different formulas they've had

    A little over a year? Liquid lipsticks have been available for like a decade 😒 Mac had a version years and years ago. Stila has had one. Where do you get that they're new?
