This is cute, but we all know whistlin diesel is gonna really crank up the test😂

"Sled always wins" sounds like a challenge. Let's see the Abrams.
  • @whistlindiesel
Let me know when you're ready to show what these can actually do :)
  • The all new 6.7L V8 Powerstroke HO with 500hp and 1627nm of torque makes it eat dust to that RC truck. Diesel all the way boys.

Rivian's rear suspension looked like it was about to blow out.

Even if this test were not skewed in anyway I wouldn't be surprised at these results. This type of short distance heavy pulling application is where electric motors shine.. Pulling down the highway at 70 MPH for 8 hrs is another story.

so, just a few general observations as someone who is very much into trucks both as a hobby and as a career, is that the F350 has a hitch mounted lower than the cyber truck, meaning that cybertruck is going to have more traction because cyber truck has more weight on the wheels. this is also why the rivian did so well. f350 could also pull all day, cyber truck will lose a lot of pulling power as it pulls over and over. or, in a real world use case, cyber truck will lose power the farther it goes on its trip. dont get me wrong the cyber truck is cool and all, but id still go with a diesel motor especially because power stays consistent all day while im driving. also i am curious to know the price tag on the 3 motor cyber truck vs an f350. another question is PM/repair cost. id be willing to bet that the cyber truck is going to be far more expensive to run than f350 in the long run. last question that is still unanswered is how does the payload capacity stack up between the two trucks? id bet that f350 will hold up to more weight in the bed and id bet that the f350 lasts longer in terms of being able to do its job 10, 20, maybe even 30 years from now. again, just a few observations...nobody get bent out of shape now

Meanwhile the old fire breathing Case Steam tractor built in 1905 would pull the sled into the next suburb. 😂

The Cybertrucks pull was impressive but the F-350 was the only one that didn’t squat under all the weight. Poor Rivian looked like it was about to be crushed.

Would've been interesting to measure the current draw and battery percentage drop from A to B.

I have pulled these in the past. Speed to the ground helps. The CT if you noticed pulled faster which created forward momentum. The CT is not in the same class as the F350.

I would like to see a thermal cam of where the heat’s at in all of those. What’s harder to control? Batteries and motors or an exhaust pipe and coolant?
  • @Zaltic
The REAL test is when WhistlinDiesel gets his hands on it
  • @78katz
The F350 definitely had way less squat than the others. It's clearly best suited for towing heavy loads.
  • @matthaus1645
I would really like to know if the hitch heights were all identical
  • @Jeffro422
They mentioned the heavier trucks have an advantage. I would have liked to see the Hummer EV included since it's got a massive 9,000 lb. curb weight.
  • @insidelectronics
I think having different tires on the trucks is going to make a difference along with if traction control is on or off. Will be waiting for more independent reviews and tests.
  • @WX4GPS
does the sled move based on time or the movement of the wheels on the trailer. so the weight applied is the same for all vehicles at same distance?
  • @SquareLyfe
The Cybertruck is impressive no doubt, but I would like to see a longevity performance comparison between the F350 and the Cybertruck. Have it pull that sled all day every day for a week and let's see the total distance.
