Lifelong Collector Sells Me EVERY MARVEL COMIC!

I can’t even begin to effectively describe the sense of pride I’m feeling - just to be a part of such a wonderful and closely knit community. My heart is overflowing with gratitude. And again, Bry, I ABSOLUTELY made the right decision by selling the collection to you. I’ve never encountered a more worthy ambassador & spokesperson for the hobby. You’re completely genuine, truly empathetic, and your devotion to it all is positively infectious. [Ditto that for young Marcus]. Last but not least, I LOVE the fact that hundreds of folks might now appreciate owning a piece of what constituted my longstanding labor of love, versus it going to just a single individual. This is the most insane collection I’ve ever seen, congrats on such a find and props to mr wilbur for such an amazing collection, truly a one of a kind collection.

I will put you and your family in my prayers Mr Wilbur. My wife is a cancer nurse of 36 years at city of hope here California. 80% of cancers are treatable. Your stage one so you caught it early which is also a big plus. Get wells soon. Thank you for putting this great collection out to the community through a great guy like Bry.

It was fun collecting in 1970s and 1980s...at time I didn't buy a lot fresh off newstand but bought collections all over the place and including 38,000 books from a store that shut down. Had probably 95% of silver age Marvel period plus a lot of DC but started a comic shop in late 1980s and also sold off many to local collectors and adding to shop. Core collection started selling off on EBay in late 1990s. Regret moving so much back then but had other activities going on...Wilbur had a good time in building that collection.

Mr. Wilbur has amassed an awesome comic book collection! It's cool to know all the books he took the time to gather and preserve will now bare his name as the original owner of the book through a C.O.A. which will now all go out to collectors around the world to enjoy!
