  • Yeah! I and my husband married for the first (and forever) time at age 53💕 Praise The Lord I waited. My husband is an amazing man Of God. Imperfectly perfect for me💕

when your single and not dating...the best thing to do while waiting is serve God, travel, and set and met goals.

I married the man that I had dreamed about. However, it was a bad dream. I married him anyway. It took 26 years to get out of the worst relationship of my life. But, I still thank God that I am still alive and able to tell my testimony. WAIT ON THE LORD! DON"T SETTLE FOR WHAT IS WORST FOR YOU WHEN GOD KNOWS WHAT IS BEST FOR YOU!

I was 41 when I met my husband. 45 when we got married. I knew he was out there.

This blessed me today. Am also in my 40's and never married. There's hope for me!

I'm a single, 33 y/o man who's currently on his walk and wait for his queen. contrary to popular belief, there are guys out here who WANT to be married. I THOUGHT I've been waiting until I watched this. Thank you for posting this video and story! It's not just that she was ten 10 older than I am now when she got married, it really gave me perspective of HOW I've been looking at my walk with Christ and what He guiding me towards, and what I should be doing in the meantime.

Thank you for bringing this story to life. As a 35 year old never married, no kids woman who has followed the Lord for years, its refreshing to hear this.
  • @charris9547
Ladies do not make marriage or having children an idol because this is a rush to single parenthood, a broken marriage, or tumultuous co-parenting. Focus on God and living. Never try to force it. Married at 32 and loving it, 5+ years strong. Marriage was not much of a thought for me.
  • I can relate to this personally! My Grandma waited till she was in her 50s to get married to the man God had for her. She didn't know it but it was her very own high school best friend! and she trusted in the Lord with her wait ALLLL THE DAYS. For clarity she had my Dad at 13/14 years old by a different person so that's how I came along :) So for me, I am happy to say that at 22, I am now satisfied whether God calls me to a life of singleness or marriage. Either way my life goes, I just want to serve :) Update: Wow can't believe I wrote this 4 years ago! I'm 26 going on 27 next month and still walking in my singleness! Currently serving as a missionary in Asia :D Jesus is so awesome!

Finally something for the 40+ never married crew! Thank you Heather & Lori for your encouraging words. The timing for everyone's life is different but the constant is falling in love with Jesus first! There's no way around it. God bless!
  • Thats amazing.I can relate to this.got married at 33 and now blessed with twin girls who just turned one.God is amazing and faithful.all we need is to be patient
  • @SimplyLexsi
Major Key:: you have to surrender your desires to the Lord! Doing your own thing can/will delay your from destination, even by decades. Making marriage an ideal is a serious issue most singles don't even know the're doing it. Shift your focus on God whole heartly.
  • I loved this. I am 35 and just got engaged a month ago. No kids, never been married. Although other people tried to make me seem like something must have been wrong with me, I decided to trust God's timing. Waiting is sooo worth it. There is nothing like the peace of God in your life and in your relationship.

How did this end up in my suggestions?? I will be 40 in 4 months. Never married. No children. Celebrate for 5 years. I know that rejection has been God’s protection. My heart desires many things; one of them being a kind, respectful and patient man. I’m happy I got to see this today. Thank you 🌹

For anybody out there waiting on God for a spouse or children..i pray that the Lord will remember you just like he did for Rachel, Sarah and all the amazing women we read about in the bible... same God yesterday, today and forever. Amen
  • @eileenmoore7725
Congratulations on your marriage! I am 65 years old and never married. I put God first and am going to wait and not compromise. Thank you for sharing.
  • @exoticgl0w
Thank you so much for sharing your story Lori. I'm 29 and single.......and sometimes I do get weary seeing 30+, 40+ women, who have served the Lord faithfully, and still be single ----- being real, that can disheartening and then fear sets in my heart that my story will be the same and then I wonder why God put this desire for marriage and family in my heart in the first place. But listening to your story today has been super encouraging and a reminder that God is faithful. I'm grateful for Pinky Promise.
