nfl longest passing plays ever, only one of these plays in under 95 yards and I put that in because the player who made the play (John Taylor) had a 96 yard touchdown later in the game.

  • Ok I know I’m late to explain this, but a “pass play” is just simply a play that involves a pass. This video isn’t on the longest passes through the air, does this clear everything up?

i hate it when i get a 5′ 9″ receiver mixed up with Rob Gronkowski
  • It’s funny how Mike Wallace is on the Steelers then the next play he does it again against the Steelers

Incredible downfield blocking by Jerry Rice on both of those Taylor touchdowns. That's a part of his game that is always overlooked

1:56 is one of my favorite calls ever, I still get chills with the fact that it can be your own former players that can do it the worst to you in a single moment. Love the NFL.

it’s hard to believe QBs had the same facemasks as linemen back in the day. What’s even harder to believe is Wes Welker being mistaken for Gronk.

Jerry Rice out there throwing blocks, helping his teammates score touchdowns! Man how I miss athletes who loved the game and their respective team so much. Laying it all out there every game. Salute!

Rob Gronkowski has eaten meals that weigh more than Wes Welker.

John Taylor is one of the most underrated WR's of all time. He always made big plays. Rice gets all of the attention, and deservedly so, but Taylor's presence benefited Rice's output. Opposing teams couldn't double team both of them. There were just too many weapons on those 49er teams back in the day.

7:19 This has to be one of the best from a QB performance perspective. Randall Cunningham dodging a safety with eyes in the back of his head, and then proceeds to throw the ball about 70 yds through the air. (most of the rest are outstanding WR performances with YACs)

At 0:45 Malcom Jenkins came out of nowhere, he could’ve easily given up. Respect ✊🏼

Pretty much every one of these, the qb has a clean pocket. Randall Cunningham's one was ridiculous. In his own end zone, under duress, and he threw it 60 yards in the air running to his left and throwing right with a defender in his mouth. One of the greatest throws ever( and not even Cunningham's best play)

What a great post. Some of that old footage made me feel like I'd soon be watching Columbo and Star Trek episodes again. TU!

@3:29 This game was played on Christmas eve of the 2011 NFL season. The Giants entering the game were reeling at 7-7 after a strong first half of the year, and looked like they were going nowhere, but then won this game and subsequently got hot to not only make the playoffs, but go all the way to capture their 4th Super Bowl victory over the New England Patriots in February. Many sports analysts feel that it was this long touchdown play from Eli Manning to Victor Cruz which was the catalyst to their capturing the championship that season.

Calvin Johnson was an absolute terror. How the hell do you try to cover him. Hes taller faster and stronger than most DB's. Incredible.
