TOUR The BEST SHORT SKOOLIE WE'VE MADE

My name's Chuck, I've been professionally converting buses for the last 7 years and was director of operations for a bus company before that.

IN THIS VIDEO, I'll give an in-depth tour of the best bus we've made yet, covering the systems, design, and features of this top of the line conversion built for ‪@REGRETLYSS1‬

I honestly think this is the best shorty I have seen. It's easily 4 season livable, while balancing all the amenities with being small enough to actually boondock in fairly remote areas. You guys knocked it out of the park!
  • @mikeelek9713
My only suggestion for nearly all of these small builds would be to round the corners near entries or doorways. It's a small space, relative to a house, and rounding the corners provides a softer surface when the person inevitably bumps into something. There is a lot of really excellent work here. I enjoyed this video.

Well Charlie, you and your build crew, including the expensive giggling camera person, didn't just build a nice bus. You built a luxury studio apartment that just happens to be movable. I'm impressed by the thought and design that created a beautiful living space, unlike any other I have seen. If you and you're Chrome Yellow Team hadn't decided to take a little time to enjoy you're lives, I believe you calendar would have been swamped with customers trying to get you to create similar builds. The Monarch's royal road crew will be able to venture far and wide in unmatched style and comfort. I look forward to what you and Ben will create for yourselves. A most informative and entertaining video on a one of kind build.
  • This is the Best hour long skoolie conversion tour I have ever watched. Normally I would look at the time and think no way am I going to watch this for an hour. I did and I loved it! I was engrossed with explanations on everything from solar to the knob on toilet to lift lid . Thank you! I have been studying RV's Skoolie's etc ..for 7 yrs. I have made up my mind, I would like a skoolie just like this one! I did live in a RV for 3 yrs until mechanically it broke down. Now I have gained knowledge and soon would like a skoolie this size and your company to convert it exactly like this one! I trust every word you said and trust my decision . I hope you 'll still be doing this work. I have one year before I'll be ready. Truly my Dream bus!! The intelligence of your words as a Professional in this area of work is enlightening! Thank You and the young lady sharing her bus for the tour! Beautiful

Hi Charlie.. Stumbled across Regretlyss some time ago, and watched most of your build videos for the Monarch. This video was great… a complete and concise encapsulation of all the modifications that you and your crew performed which helped answer some questions for me. Alyssa posted a video last week of her 20゚below 0 experience that raised some concerns from me which I addressed to her in the comments section. Your video cleared those questions up, specifically that there is both a smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector, and that the propane equipment is vented. Your video referenced the vent for the on demand hot water heater in your external walk around, but nothing was said about a vent for the oven. Is it vented? Great video, Charlie, and an amazing build. Your knowledge and craftsmanship are 2nd to none!!! I wish you the best and whatever the future holds for you.
  • @JaxAustin
You’re a natural at the YouTube game. A fountain of knowledge.
  • @bsellman6881
Dude I really like how meticulous and detailed you are, that's a sign of a great Craftsman and intelligent person.
  • Loved following Alyssa’s channel for this build and watching you and your shipmates (er.. shop mates* but going to leave shipmates because that sounds cool) tackle this great build! Definitely has given me some ideas what I want to do when I decide to take the plunge. Great work and came out phenomenal! For both you and Alyssa: 1. What was your favorite part of the build to work on? 2. What was your least favorite/more difficult item to do on the build? 3. Hindsight, what are things you would have done differently/changed? Also, Charlie (sp?): How difficult is it to do a slide out on a skoolie and have you ever done one?
  • @865style
Great build. Definitely a bus that has it all and makes you feel safe in all situations and at home.
  • @1977milad
