Hey frequent viewers & up & coming travelers to Hungary. I have been to Hungary many times & I got to tell you in my humble opinion that Mr. & Mrs. Stuffed Cabbage are probably the best travel source about Budapest without using a travel guide book. The time and money they spend on making these videos for us indeed will save you tons of time and dollars when you get to Hungary. Shower them with thanks, comments, Questions and a " cup of coffee ☕️ " These guys are " The Real Deal "

Useful tip: Google maps can get confused if you are on the Margit Island. It may tell you to swim :) Solution: just set the starting position from "my location" to the tram stop on the bridge.
  • Hi there I’ve just returned from Budapest & tried everything you mentioned in your videos! Though I don’t speak Hungarian, I managed to use the public transportation easily, and I always remembered to validate my single ticket. The city is mesmerizing and I fell in love with it.. thanks for sharing beneficial information ❤❤
  • Great video! We used all the public transportation options on our week-long stay in Budapest and we never needed a taxi. Your public transportation is amazing and we never had to wait long out in the cold on any stop. Ourselves, we bought two passes at the airport, the ones that are valid for 15 days, so we didn't have to validate all the time. We had our passports with us and never faced any issues (as the passes are valid for the specific passport ID that are issued for). Congratulations to BKK, they operate a well-functioning system.

Somehow some tourists assumed that the public transportation in Budapest is free since it doesn't have the turnstile and..... Bam! They get caught red handed without valid tickets This video needs to be pinned on the Budapest subreddit

From the airport, I usually take the 200E to Ferihegy and then transfer to the train into Nyugati. It is all included in my monthly pass. Also, the 4-6 tram does operate 24 hours a day.
  • @RosFallons
