    I am telling you from experience those connectors are crap. They do not fire half the time and also tend to become damaged in shipping. What most pyros do on these compounds is cut off the wire and plastic connector ends, strip them back, and meld them together and then wrap with tape and stuff down to the side. The fireworks for these compounds are generally left in the box. I wrap the box with some strong tape going around the sides for extra support. I go to Home Depot and get long 4 by 4's cut there into smaller sections and then brace together around the cakes. The cost of these cakes you do not want to use the crap connectors. Make sure you brace as if these fall down these are big shots.
