I wanna say, THIS all, was because of blue wanting nether warts. NETHER WARTS.

No matter if he's Reacting or Re-Reacting, DJ makes King Orange more amazing with his dialogue.

54:38 Red: Getting bullied Orange: In a horror movie Yellow: Getting his own staff Green: Trapped in a musical Blue: Just crafting

1:11:10 And once again, I love the fact that my boy Yellow was the only one to trying get the staff, and not just punch invincible Orange King. My little smart kido. Also the new bits and pieces are amazing, I enjoyed watching them. Great work team Alan!

It’s incredibly hard to believe that the entirety of season 3 took place in the timespan of a little over than an hour.

Alan finally cracked youtube, which incentivizes quantity over quality by pushing for yt shorts and changing how ads overpopulate shorter videos. Alan counters by making a video of such high quality, people will watch it over and over again to see the tiny details in each of 5 or 6 different screens, AND has a commentary video with DJ to seal it off. Quality wins babyyyy

The escape sequence of Parkour is by far the best suited to the real-time style, even though you do have to watch it 6 times to get the full experience. It's possibly the single best showcase of each character's fighting style and personality in the series. The standout to me was Red, because even though we've seen a couple times that he's the most aggressive he doesn't get a lot of chances to put that to use because it gets overshadowed by his compassion and animals. Here he gets past the Piglin Brute through basically just brute force and pushing it back faster than it can regain ground like a linebacker. TSC, despite being a good fighter, is better at thinking outside the box so it makes sense that he'd abuse the respawn mechanics to get past. Green, despite being the most skilled fighter, got stuck parrying and wasn't making any ground until he used his affinity for verticality to his advantage. He's the one who uses the fishing rod the most as a grappling hook, so he frequently leans more towards a height advantage. Yellow, while being the smartest, isn't the most physically capable of the group and basically fumbles his way to the beacon. His sword gets knocked out of his hand multiple times in his fight and he's practically getting manhandled. And Blue, as ever, is the pacifist of the group. He only attacks the Brute to get it to let go of him, never any other times. I also love that to keep the Green screen interesting during the two buddy episodes Purple just got hopelessly lost on the way to Alan's computer

57:28 I like how the only way to extend Orange’s scene was to extend the flashback
  • 41:10 I love the contrast here: In the red/TSC part, you can see red getting hungry while blue/yellow patt, the ravager starts getting tired of potatoes.

alan awkwardly trying to hint at the new stuff to DJ is really funny xD i love how each episode is a different genre! Orange: horror Red: high school outcast redemption movie Green: musical Yellow & Blue: inspirational action/adventure/fantasy DJ's commentary is amazing as ever :D thank you for cheering me up and being amazing in general! can't wait
  • the complete tonal dissonance at 1:00:33 is so funny to me, you've got purple mourning his mothers death while red celebrates winning the team race
  • Everyone who worked on this as well as the original video deserves so much praise! Especially whoever did that little shortening of King Orange’s flashback so that it all fit with the rest while still giving us some of the most important bits out of it! Also I don’t think I will ever be able to not cry watching season 3, the storytelling and music were all incredible!

11:18 is great because it made me realise just how close they actually were to each other the whole time. If they'd noticed the portal ust a few seconds earlier none of this would have happened. Also I love the fight scene when they're trying to escape the parkour course because all of them fight differently and there's just so much to follow. TSC and Red both get thrown at the same time but TSC switches to a sword immediately while Red continues just fighting normally. TSC is also the only one who doesn't willingly put down the trophy which I thought was funny. Green uses his trophy as a weapon and it's then used against him. Yellow uses brute force to try and just run past before switching to a sword at the same time Green does. Everyone else is mid fight and Blue just keeps walking into the piglin to see if that works. TSC is the first to escape, abusing the fall mechanic. Green jumps over the piglin using the scoreboard. Red tries to throw the piglin off but is blocked by the fall mechanic. Yellow gets back into the course third and immediately falls (I saw someone say that he's actually the worst out of all of them and can't jump as well). Somehow Blue's tactic of not actually fighting that much gets him out before Red. I can't point out every detail in the parkour scene because it's just too much but there's so many small details to find on rewatch.

Personally, I think that for most of the time Green was in jail, Purple kept coming back with random games from random people's desktops, and King Orange eventually had to draw a map to Alan's computer.
  • @Atiredsandwich.
I love that around 1:11:33 when Purple it's basically insisting on going to stop King Orange he stops glitching for like a second, and then starts walking. Small detail that I love to see every time I rewatch these videos.

I’m assuming while all of this was happening “Behind the Keyboard Alan” was preparing another very elaborate lunch.
  • @birdsandboogie
i feel like King Orange constantly yelling "My tunes!" is canon
  • @user-iw3gu1jw9g
Subtle notice when Blue slips the recipe...🤫 Alan and his team knew what they were doing before they posted the chef animation. 55:09
