We are retired, and we travel to places that were once thriving but are not doing so well now sharing our thoughts about the places we drive through. We focus on South Georgia, Middle Georgia, and other places surrounding us. Sometimes the places that we visit are doing well. We also visit places of interest like state parks, historical places, and museums. We try to be positive about the areas we go to because there is too much negativity in the world already.

The neighborhood right across the pecan orchard by the Georgia power is where I spent most of my childhood. We used to roam those pecan orchards as children and would go to the BP gas station on the corner to buy lemon heads and now n laters.

Should check out Frostproof and Crescent City Florida someday whenever you're in Florida.So many charming smaller towns in Georgia.
