Ezra Klein, Bob Wright warned them. It’s time for Democrats to be humble, admit their mistake, and do the right thing. I’m in the UK, but that debate was catastrophic. Biden will never win this.

Resist the Democrats' push to normalize Biden's debate performance.

biden should probably step down right now, as terrifying as that sounds.

I’m a registered Democrat but I refuse to vote for Biden. Absolutely not. He is not in control. I will write in a name if I need to.

The only worse thing Democrats can do, than keeping Joe, is nominating Hillary.
  • The Dems have options. They need to take them. This election is way too high stakes to play with Biden. My decision was made by default, but my vote isn't the one the candidates are fighting for. There's time before the convention so the Dem leadership need to think LONG AND HARD about this.
  • I liked that part in the debate, where Pres Biden said “I did blopenbiffenhum.” That was very profound and really spoke to me.

No, the best joke was Jon Stewart's "resting 25th amendment face"

"He is the nominee!" So, schedule a psychiatrist and disqualify him. Heve a mercy on dementia patient.
  • I think both beat expectations. They both showed up with pants on, neither defficated directly onto the stage, neither hallucinated being attacked by bees. Great jobs all around.

And the risk of Trump is clearer. Buck up!

Why is it "bad night for democracy"? Democracy is not the rule of Democratic party, it's a rule of law and democratic institutions.
  • @Poosley
After that debate, the risk of Trump is clear

"You're not voting for me. I'm just a doll, filled with motors, plastic and wires. I don't matter. You're voting for the team. The advisors, strategists, appointees, and most of all, the people that paid to put me here. The people that pull the levers and work the machine. The unseen people who are typing these words as I speak them - there are three of us and two AIs. That's what I am, and you've always known it. Vote for me, because I am the best construct for the job." - Disneyland Abe Lincoln, announcement for candidacy 2032.

Bernie Sanders has a sharp mind even now. Democrats, you made your mistake rigging the primary twice against him.

Don't double down on a bad candidate, that's what republicans do!
