This makes me miss people that are not real, makes me want to go places that don't exist, makes me feel like i lived as someone who doesn't exist in a place that doesn't exist
-
Anyone else here in 2024 still listening to this soundtrack? 🎧😊

“When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies but the pack survives,”
-
The North remembers. Felt so good after hearing this in House of the Dragon S2E1. Winterfell feels so relatable.

Living in a small village in Norway, looking out the window, seeing the majestic mountains, small little fisherman houses, snow falling, listening to this soundtrack... It perfectly describes where I live.

""Leave one wolf alive and the sheep are never safe""- ARYA STARK

Hearing the House Stark theme makes me nostalgic. The Starks suffered so much, yet still didn’t give up and came out stronger. Game of Thrones was absolutely incredible, a true masterpiece

Just imagine, being in a room at Winterfell, nice and warm cause of the hot spring, snow falling out of the window the wind howling Sitting on the floor with Robb, Jon, Theon, Sansa, Arya, Bran and Rickon, listening to Old Nan telling one of her stories about White Walkers.

Alot of people hate winter. I love it. I love the silence. The snow. The cold. I love fall. The leaves fall. The cool brisk air. I cant stand summer or spring. Its too hot. Winter will be here soon.

The music wants me to rewatch the show, but I can't handle season 8 again :(

Back in the old days, things definitely weren't great in many aspects but I sometimes wonder... Back then so many things were shrouded in mystery, so many places undiscovered, you'd never know what you'll find there. The mystery is the spice I miss in modern life, we arrogantly suppose that we know everything because we have our smartphones to tell us what is what at all times. No land unseen, no stone unturned. I feel sad when I see old, beautiful buildings decay into nothing, replaced by glass giants with no soul... That's why so many of us escape into a different land and even into a different life when we listen to this music. We want adventure, mysticism and meaning. Something bigger than a humdrum job for the sake of giving our money away to corporations that persuaded us that we need their useless trinkets.... Ahhh, escapism ❤️

I am from Siberia. Winter is coming soon. But these are not calm times here. Lately I often sleep to this atmospheric music. May the force be with us ⚔

Arya : "When people ask you what happened here, tell them the North remembers. Tell them winter came for House Frey."
-
When winter comes for war, You shall hear no Lions roar. When winter forces you to yield, No Stags shall graze upon the field. When winter creeps upon you from the shadows, No Roses shall bloom from the meadows. When winter wreaks havoc on the land, You can bet there'll be no Snakes in the sand. When winter brings to life all it finds grim, The Krakens will freeze where they swim. When winter sets and the land begins to shiver, The Flayed Man will start to rot and wither. When winter fights to the last sliver, No more Trouts shall swim in the river. When winter ravages and all despair, No Falcons shall fly high in the air. When winter shows you what happens when snow falls, not even dragons breath shall warm you in your halls. When winter comes with all it's might, only the Wolves shall howl in the night!

It's so fitting that the stark theme played for the reveal of Jon Snow actually being Aegon Targaryan. The music pays homage, not to the importance of Jon's real heritage, but rather to the family he grew up with, specifically, Ned Stark. It's a good reminder that our blood only means so much, what matters more is the ones who care for us, fight for us, and stand with us.

I was peacefully studying but then I end up crying hearing every piece of music that gives me so much nostalgia. I can't believe we grew up so fast. Everything just seemed like it happened yesterday
-
I remember when Ned was holding Lyana's baby and the scene transited from the baby's face to Jon's face and this theme started playing. I remember myself having goosebumps, absolutely shocked to know that Jon is a Targaryen, my eyes wide open, and my mind unable to fathom all that in that instant. Despite the ending and poorly written final season, Game of Thrones is one of the greatest shows in television history. And this theme is my favorite.

We know no king but the king in the north

Winterfell feels like home. Ever since I heard the Stark theme it connected to me like crazy, the melancholy, the somberness, the weird comfort in looking at all the land covered in snow. It just made me feel like I belong. If I had a choice, I'd live in the cold for as long as I can bear it. I was born in the early winter season, some people say it's strange to be so in love with the cold but I can't help it.
