I’ve been trying para after I saw it recommended by the Rideshare professor. It seems to be working pretty good. One thing though is that if Uber is not giving you the information of the ride because of whatever like you’ve rejected too many rides then parent doesn’t get that information either. That kind of sucks. Aside from that it is nice to get a quick estimate on the ride before accepting. I use Para only for Uber rides at this point. I’m not quite sure if it’s calculating its profit based on point A to point B, or if it’s calculating from your current location including the distance and time it takes to get to the pick up location with that or of course if you’re ready in a ride I don’t know if it’s able to calculate the distance from where you’re dropping your last passenger off to where you’re picking up the next passenger. Also an interesting calculation to see in the future would be concerning long trips. You know like if you gotta drive 100 miles out of your area to bring somebody somewhere. It would be nice to calculate the return or deadhead along with that trip.

Hey Chris what you forgot to mention is para is not in all markets. For instance par is in nyc suburbs for DD but not for Uber rideshare

Lyft is now on PARA, but it doesn't show if there will be a tip? and I already get the same info from Lyft on ride details as Para shows, so how does this help with Lyft?

I have not seen much change on Uber with Para though we can get trip duration for every trip. In the DC area we don’t know where we can pick up or drop off anyway so it’s not like it makes a difference for me

I’m a new driver for Uber and Lyft and I’m trying to find a similar video showing how to setup para and fine tune the settings. I have been trying to use it here in the Orlando area for the past week and set it to reject anything lower than $1.50. But I noticed many Lyft rides rejected were $.65 range (short runs). I was also told I need to factor in how far away the pickup is when determining what my acceptable cost per mile would be…very confusing…help please

I have Para and Uber linked but my Dasher does not work. It allows me to activate it but it does not allow me to set tracking, I’m in Charlotte,NC

It doesn't show Uber ride details, you didn't even show an example in your video, meaning it doesn't work at all with Uber

Thanks, but no thanks. Don't need a 3rd party app that could get me deactivated when Uber is already giving me the same info. And this doesn't factor in boosts, quests or surges.

$$ per mile into is good if it calculates pick up mileage into the equation. Especially on trips with pax. Anyone know specifics?
