Krystal receives an alarming distress signal from Dinosaur Planet...uh, Walled City...uh, Sauria. Yes, Sauria. Aparoids have actually killed Tricky's people (unlike General...what was his name again?).

Key Notes:
Gold Medal Requirement: 2,300
- There are a lot of enemies in this one. If you're not chasing after the flags, you will probably have an easier time accumulating a big combo.
- To properly get a big combo, you must essentially comb the area with no breaks. The Landmaster is a better choice than the Arwing to deal with airborne enemies, as the Arwing will force you to lose some time landing and trying to destroy grounded enemies.
- There isn't a boss in this level (there goes my infected Aparoid RedEye monster). You must destroy all the hatchers hidden across the level: above the ground and below the main temple Krystal's at (and one pesky hatcher attached to the cliffs to the south).
- S-Flags:
1) Head all the way southwest to the waterfall there and strike the empty air at its bottom to find the flag.
2) Head east of there and enter the temple. Destroy the enemies at the center and strike the indentation at said center (from where the rolling enemies appear) to find your prize.
3) Keep heading east until you're dangerously looking at a row of destroyed columns behind a small temple. Strike the one pillar that makes you auto-lock on to find the flag.
4) Head north of there through the rock bridge and strike the enemy cannon to the right, which is blocking a separated entrance to the cave inside. Defeat all enemies in there and then strike the empty air at the end to find that suspicious flag.
5) Right above the cave, and right above the big temple Krystal is at, you must use the tank to quickly reach the roof of the temple. On the lookout point to the northeast, a flag is hiding above its floor.

Fun fact: it was always intended to be called Sauria, the original Dinosaur Planet 64 script references it in some uncovered material and dialogue.

Love the differenes between the english dub and japanese dub in Krystal's dialogue during the mission briefing. In the english dub she sounds kinda exasperated, like "good gracious, about f*cking time we get some time to ourselves". Meanwhile, in the japanese dub she sounds excited but then gets flustered as soon as Fox himself does so. Like, "God, yes! We finally get to be alone!... uh, you guys didn't hear anything".

I personally thought that this game had the best voice acting of the Star Fox series. And I personally like it when Slippy is played by a male voice actor considering that he is technically a male character.

Nice to hear more of Alésia Glidewell's voice. (She's also Zero Suit Samus on the Super Smash Bros games) She doesn't say much as Samus though, so it's nice to hear how she sounds like with bigger lines.
