First off if you are still here watching I just want to thank you, you are a true Sampler fan and I cannot tell you how much that means to me.

I just wanted to pop in to remind you this video was filmed over the course of an entire season because that’s an important fact. Though I did want to talk a lot about how useful of a tool I think this e-bike has been for me, my main objective was to actually emphasize the importance of repetition and patience in skill building. I also kinda just wanted to put a PSA out there for all my fellow riders reminding ya that you unfortunately are not the same rider you were at the end of last Summer, so be safe out there as you start getting back out on the bike this year.

Anyway, thank you for watching, stay safe out there, and as always LFRHGS! I’ll see you again soon for another video..

Hi Alex, so about 5yrs ago I had a massive crash on a gap jump, by massive I mean I'm now an incomplete quadriplegic massive, the last feeling I have before that crash is that euphoria of being in the air on the bike and I have been living of that feeling ever since. This year, I hit a modest sized table top in my recumbent trike and got that feeling back .... not too proud to say it brought a tear to my eyes. Well done my friend and keep up the progression

Pro tip for those of us struggling with going fast enough for a big jump. Throw on a full face helmet AND goggles. That will cut down the sensation of speed quite a bit and allow you to go faster. :)

Your positive energy is absolutely infectious! Thank you also for pointing out to be able to ride like that it really takes time and repetition. Initially I believe it also takes some coaching by someone who has the skills. It’s hard to remember or admit that as a rider sometimes. Stay stoked!

I've been on and off the bike for decades, probably off moreso than on, so I'd say my skill falls comfortably within an intermediate level. I feel like I still have lots of ways to hurt myself on the trail without attempting jumps, but your videos inspire me to keep pushing my comfort zone and working on fundamental skills to one day reach that sensation of flying along the trail! Thank you for sharing your passion.
  • I'm turning 64 this summer and didn't really start working on my jump skills until I was 60. Unfortunately it's been hard to progress, because there isn't a lot of jump options in my area. A new trail system is being built in my area that promises a couple dedicated jump lines, so maybe this will change.

Ebikes are the best! The amount of training you get by repetition is priceless

Awesome! Happy for you dude! I really dig the mixing you did putting multiples of your runs together in one moment. Fun stuff to watch here on a rainy Sunday, thanks!🤙

One of the best videos in a while. I know and feel your mental anguish, especially on this specific jump. You're "lame" comment was spot on. I hate seeing myself on video bc it's unimpressive LOL.
  • @ajonkheer9450
Awesome to see all the work you put into editing this video, so worth it!!
  • @RenanBarros

  • @Biker790
Besides the travel/adventure videos, which can't be beaten, this is the best video you've ever made. It's like you found the secret formula for what makes a great video. You got the success story, the brilliant PIP sponsor message, the interesting insights/observation about ebikes (without taking one an extreme side), the narration, the editing, the music. Love the content, love the riding. This has me stoked!
  • @akee8mtb
