To anyone comparing this to Wirtual, just know that this was 6 months before wirtuals first ever trackmania WR history video. If anything this is pulled from Summoning Salt - but even then, Salt has explained that he loves others making WR history videos and encourages content creators to do so. This is a good video - enjoy it for what it is...

I remember playing this game in my childhood 10 years ago. I can't believe people are still interested in it and putting this much dedication into it. Simply amazing

Theres no special bugs or hidden shortcuts to this. Its just pure concentration and skill and hours upon hours of practice, and thats pretty neat to me
  • @WaveDemon
Very cool to see the history on such an iconic track

Man i am so fucking glad youtube showed me this outta nothing, I was a big trackmania fan and player back in the days and seeing such a passionate, careful made video on the topic makes me so happy to have being part of it for a period of my life, I don't know what kinda thing are you into my friend but your way of telling a history just hooked me from zero to 100 in a couple minutes so please keep doing this i hope this type of documentary becomes a thing next year and you are gonna be one of the big ones in this ride.

The World Record was finally maxed out 2 days ago on May 22nd by trabadia at a 23.84. To put into perspective how insane this is, he tied the time of a TAS(Tool-Assisted-Speedrun) completely legit. What a legend.

To those complaining about the music, "We're Finally Landing" is like the World Record History main theme. Sure, Summoning Salt made it popular, but many people are doing the same for their speedgames/communities. Keep up the good work, I'm not a TrackMania player but I love watching these documentaries

This is a masterpiece of a video. A lot of people have copied/inspired from this idea and style but nothing can beat this very video.
