The Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask. The Zelda game with a BRUTAL time mechanic only allowing the player 72 in game hours to progress as much as possible before having to reset back to day 1.

Have you ever thought if you can beat the entirety of Majora's Mask in just one 3 Day Cycle right at the start of the game? I'm here to give that thought an answer.

Easily one of the craziest things I've done in the Zelda franchise and I absolutely loved this challenge.

Holy moly the support has been crazy here! Thank you everyone so much for watching! I normally do these dumb challenges over on Twitch @ Smiffic ! I'll be over there if you want to watch things like this LIVE! 😄
  • Honestly kinda crazy he got 3/4 stray fairy rewards in 1 cycle alone

Every single Zelda fan has thought of this idea in their head. Props for actually doing it!!!
  • I love how this could be what canonically happened and that Link just never found out about the time warp while in Termina.
  • The fact you didn't automatically consider massive sequence break glitches in this run surprises me this is actually a truly legendary run!
  • @Tor-Erik
This is the most canon Majora's Mask story in Zelda history where young Link speedruns and saves Termina from moon's fall in just three days straight without having to go back in time and start over.
  • Alternatively, you can call this challenge "majora mask, but link lands on his head during the fall into termina and forgets who Zelda is."
  • That Link is one slick son of a gun! Blows himself up multiple times just to launch his green ass farther, soars around an entire country, taking names and solves a world-ending crisis inside of half a week. All before puberty.

I did a one-cycle run WAAAAAAY back in the day. I mean pre-YouTube days! I think it was a popular old-school challenge among playground and middle school cafeteria chats. It's cool to see other people take the challenge.

This run was great. Not only did it prove that it could be done, but it also showed it doesn’t even need to be a perfect run!
  • Dang, I actually didn’t think it was possible to do that without glitches.
  • @Ramen117
In the Majora’s Mask manga, Link does the adventure in 3 days.
  • The amount of knowledge and planning this required was insane. Props to you for proving it could be done.
  • When the adventure is definitely not the friends we had made along the way. Amazing job.
  • @Chiller31916
Mad respect for not using major glitches to do this speedrun, these are the kind of speed runs I love watching.

17:22 fun fact, if you void out like this after defeating Twinmold but before grabbing the remains, it resets the entire boss fight. Learned this from personal experience 🙃

I still think this is the best Zelda game ever made, it's so genius and unique, nothing has ever been close to it's weirdness that just works! Ocarina is my first and very special to me...but there is something about Majora's Mask that is hard to explain..it just hits different!

I like to think that this is how Link would do it, "I'll just save this town from the moon as quickly as possible so I can keep searching for Navi" it was an amazing video, congrats on making it possible!
  • @Autonova
Makes you think they probably designed the game with this possibility in mind. Well played!
  • I always found it fascinating that you can beat whichever dungeons you want in whatever order in this game. You can literally beat stone tower first providing you get the dungeon item in the other ones
