Recently while trying to buy Miso Paste on the Sainsbury’s app we came across a review saying they should be prosecuted for selling their Miso paste as miso paste 😂 We thought it was so funny and suffice to say we steered well clear! 😂

I wonder do people only leave reviews if they're not happy? I can safely say I have never thought to leave a review on my groceries! 😂

Any kind of prebaked products, like the scones or muffins, for instance, just warming them up works wonders.

The trick with supermarket scones is to split them and pop them in the toaster for just long enough to warm them before adding butter and jam.

Old sayings are 'There is no pleasing everyone' and 'One man's meat is another man's Poison'. I've eaten many low-rated supermarket foods before and found them perfectly OK! M&S Scones is a perfect example. If someone is trying to palm them off as homemade - nope, it wouldn't work, eat them at home with the family, with clotted cream and jam and they are delicious. Best rated would be a good one Grace...

I got those Cadbury pudding/cakes from Cost Plus World Market, this past Christmas. I was SO excited to try this special treat and share with my family. I popped that sucker out and looked at it. 🤨 Then I tasted it. Oh no!!! So disappointing! Bland, bland, bland. I was so sad. My family was like, "how bad could it be"? Nope! It was a no for everyone. Just terrible. Such high expectations, dashed. 😭😭😭

I think most supermarkets let people leave online product reviews now, so you could definitely make this into a series. As well as highest and lowest rated products you could also pick various categories, e.g. chocolate digestives, and then taste a good (4-5 stars), a bad (1-2 stars) and an average (around 3 stars) one from each category to see if you agree with the ratings. It could also be fun to see if different supermarkets rank the same branded products the same or differently, e.g. those Cadbury puds you tried, and which supermarket's customers give the most accurate reviews.

The greatest hot chocolate in the world is the one you used to get from the school vending machine that stuff was incredible
  • Interesting! About the magnum tho- isn’t it only meant to be pistachio bits like the almond one? That’s not almond flavoured ice cream either
  • @jemimabean

  • Highly enjoyed this taster video. The thumbnail for it is absolute gold as well. 😜

If you want good pistachio flavoured things in London - try double pistachio icecream from Bilmonte & try the pistachio latte from Signorelli!
