The drumming on this song, and album, by Manu Katche, is stunning. A master class in itself.

There is an interview with Paula Cole, where she explains that she was "unknown" before Gabriel recruited her for this tour & he was so kind & smart...the experience was so educational & FUN it would stay with her forever. They worked hard to inject joy into the performance.

This was a celebration of music! No ego, no "star", no spotlight. Just celebrate the music...
-
One of the best live concerts ever filmed. A beautiful song on its own, elevated to a glorious global musical mosaic tapestry party !

Peter Gabriel: Unmatched voice, great musician, composer, art, genius, mentor, fighter for human rights, pacifist, explorer of tribal music, committed to planet Earth and its memory. Thank you Bethany

••• My daughter echoed my sentiments when I showed her this performance a few years ago -- "I think this is what heaven might look like". Vid makes me tear up from the beauty. Good reaction. 👍🏼

Seeing them all dance and sing together is just beautiful.
-
It's been decades passed, and this is still the best concert I've ever attended.
-
Having been in love with this particular performance for many years now, I have no hesitation in saying it is easily one of the most transcendent, culturally unifying moments in music history!

Peter Gabriel and Kate Bush, 'Don't give up'

I’ve watched it 100 times and get emotional every time. Its men and women and different colors singing and dancing 🤷♂️

In my heart, I consider this performance one of the most beautiful songs ever sung. I have seen this vid over 50 times, and it always brings tears and smiles. It is the synergy of the voices, instruments, dance and lyrics that provokes a joy and sadness simultaneously. With the virtuoso Dr. L. Shankar on violin and the fabulous Tony Levin on bass, the musicians bring the vocals a surreal atmosphere. I will see this performance many more times. I almost think it should be highly suggested to any living human. Love to all.

Peter Gabriel is a very unique performer. His range is incredible and moving and dancing around and not missing a beat is just wow!!
-
"Shaking the Tree" from the same concert is one of my favorites and filled with such joy.
-
Anyone else think Peter Gabriel sounds like two people singing at the same time? His voice is so unique and I can’t figure out how that’s even possible to sound that way, at least to my ears!
-
"Solsbury Hill" would be another awesome choice.😊
-
his live shows always bring emotion and tears. This is deep, beautiful art that touches the soul.
-
The bass player, Tony Levin from King Crimson is a deep dive in itself.
-
this song never fails to enhance my mood

The female singer is Paula Cole , I saw her during her solo career, also amazing.
