Lance will always be Zavala to me but they made the perfect choice in making Keith David his replacement.

Now it might just be me but Keith David sounds pretty much exactly like Lance except he gives Zavala more of a worn down and beaten old commander sound

It's crazy that bungie was just like "Hey, we gotta go big on this one. Hit em with a new frickin language we designed from scratch.". There's gonna be stuff hidden in there, I'm calling it, there's going to be a community-wide Destiny moment like a new sort of outbreak prime, Niobe labs, corridors of time type situation. Let's frickin go!

I think the shot of the Crow in the "City" is actually inside the Traveler (color of the sky and red glow from one direction, as well Crows expression, not really happy, more like seeing his destination)

Quick thought, if the traveller is the Gardener, are the ghosts like pollen? Spreading the light across the stars? In that first clip it really feels like a dandelion shedding seeds

Lance Reddick as Zavala is irreplaceable, but judging from these 2 quotes, Keith David is probably the second best option, also considering that he has already worked with Bungie. And I'll play with my local dub anyways, so I guess nothing changes for me :/

I am so happy of all the voice actors out there it was Keith David to take the reigns of voicing Zavala. Smooth transition from the legend Lance Reddick. I would like to think Lance would approve of this. Keith voicing Zavala sounds new but familiar to Lance's voice, there are similarities here.
