I'm always amazed that Suzie doesn't mangle her own nails when filing someone else's.

Suzie, I started my nail career in the 80's, yes that curve was the RAGE, & I was an expert at it, ha ha.

Suzie id love to see you recreate nails and nail trends that were popular through the years. You could do a different decade for each finger (if you can stand mismatched nails 🤣). I would just love to see how nail trends have come and gone, and how the knowledge has changed.

Suzie, after battling a very serious illness I was left unable to return to my labour intensive job. I have been out of work for a few years now and I hate it, but I'm not qualified for anything else, I started at my last job when I was 14. Anyway I love watching your videos, so Maybe the sound of your voice got stuck in the back of my head or something because I've finally figured out a way to get back to work in a way that will be practical, enjoyable (I have already practiced a lot on myself and friends, I used to do it for fun and I got pretty good!) and achievable. I found a great school and I'm going to study nail technology in 2020 😁 you cannot know how much your videos inspire and teach me and I'm so, so grateful for your content. My children and I will have better lives once I am working again and I can't shake the feeling you have something to do with that. Thank you, truly. Sincerely all the way from Australia

Suzie: "If you take care of this brush, it'll last you for years." Also Suzie: places cap gently on brush and throws it to the side of the desk 😂😂😂 I love her haha
  • @hsama
I'm not even a nail technician but I really enjoy watching your videos. I think the quality of your work looks beautiful but also it's very well filmed and edited. So kudos to all guysAa

This video is much needed! Thanks Suzie 😊 I think a lot of people don’t realize that the extreme curve makes the nail extension less strong. I notice that a lot of long acrylic nails with the deep curve break right at the stress point.

Out of all the nail techs that I follow on YouTube don't get me wrong I love them all I love the work they do the designs the inspiration but Susie is my favorite because she is so technical and it is so beneficial the information that she provides!!!
  • @nixand_brennt
I love Suzie so much. She won't disparage the curve, because it's a matter of trends and personal taste, and not only that she shows generally how to get EITHER the straighter or more curved look. She’s so sweet, even about things she doesn't like.
  • @toomuchsara42
I feel like this is something that should be addressed at each fill so it doesn't get such a strong curve. When I do fills I always reshape the sidewalls to maintain the client's preferred shape.

Suzie: "you take care of this brush it will last you for years" Also Suzie: throws it down
  • @MrJole965
Suzie could you fix my life like you fix nails 😂
  • @levicel
My pointer fingers BOTH curve like hers, so it's so nice to know that there is a way to correct that. I hate getting acrylics because it makes the natural curve that much more dramatic.
  • @ElenaEnchanted
I love how you explain everything! I learned a lot from you and have been doing my own nails for the past 3 years now.
  • @beijoslindos
Can I just say thank you so much for telling us how long it took you to get into the groove of doing clients and how you had a low point of being frustrated. As a student, I've been finding it hard to find clients and I've found myself getting frustrated with my technique. This helped me so much! Thank you!
  • @luluspeaks.
Thank you Suzie!!! I have been looking for a video covering this for months - I did ask about it in nail school but it was difficult to picture without seeing it done! Thank you so much - I have a friend who has nails like this and I’m dying to do them now!
  • @trehs98

  • @DarciKin
I love Suzie can’t wait to do one of her classes
  • Thank you so much for all your hard work and for sharing your talents with us! You have completely inspired me! 😍
  • Thank you so much! As a beginner, I was very interested to know why my nails have started to curve a bit and you’ve answered it beautifully!!!
