Family Hospice - HD

Published 2023-12-17
Hello,
I'm David Parker.
This is a story about giving hospice care to a family of four who all died of AIDS. And a very special cat named Oscar.

As a side note, I have an issue with my tear ducts. They do not secrete a normal amount of tears. My grandmother had this as well. When I cry, I have little to no tears.
I cry dry a bit during my stories.
Thank you for watching.

Oh how I love this channel. I was an ICU nurse for years and have so many wonderful stories, but nothing like yours because I do not have your gift. I could always sense what my patients who could not communicate needed (almost like telepathic). I had a couple of patients where I could feel their energy as they left the body go through mine and it was a rush like nothing you can imagine! So intense, it brought me to tears. Thank you so much for all that you have done in helping so many transition and thank you for being your stories to us! Kim

Thank you Uncle Dave for deciding to share your wonderful memories. I saw you on the Jeff Mara podcast, so came here to learn more. Years ago, I managed assisted living and memory care facilities. We would bring in hospice to care for the residents. We had gotten a cat for the memory care unit, to enrich the lives of the residents with dementia. A few days before a resident was going to cross over to the spirit world, the cat would single out that person and spend most of the time on their bed. This is how we knew when it was their time. Thank you again for sharing your experiences.

My mother, grandmother, aunt and niece were all nurses. I have great respect for the work nurses do because my mother worked tirelessly and cared so much for her patients. All of them did. I’m very proud of them. Your stories are wonderful. Mom had a few of her own too. Thank you for sharing your experiences.

I too, just saw you Dave on Jeff and Mara’s channel. It’s an honor to listen to you speak. You have done so much good in your life and I’m so happy to hear your beautiful stories. Thank you so much and bless you.
  • @Leelee...
That's a sad yet beautiful story about Oscar the cat... Yes, I believe he was sent to her.
  • I can totally relate. I took care of a lot of HIV pts and cancer pts. Some of the HIV pts were babies. You really are special Dave. Such wonderful stories!

That family was blessed that you were there for them. I have a hospice cat story One day as I was walking into the hospital where my mom was in hospice, a small cat walked in front of me and ran inside ahead of me through the automatic door. He had his tail straight up in the air., like "look at me" How curious I thought and picked him up. I carried him to my mom's room. I told my mom about him though she could not respond, The nurses said that I should take him home, instead I took him to a vet, he had no I.D. and was clearly in need of some help. We did adopt him. I just believe that my mom had put the cat in my path knowing that he would help me after she had passed on..

Melinda Conroy 😊...I saved my life after being given a broad spectrum and learned so much about health that I started a Facebook to help people. Just so you know...Dr. Gundry and another Doc Perlmutter are revolutionizing our guidelines for microbes we feed in our gut. I was raised on a farm and was very reclused in learning all of this....no spiritual talk in my upbringing. Thank you for everything!
