About Trailmakers:

In the toughest motoring expedition in the universe, you and your friends will build your own vehicles to cross a dangerous wasteland. Explore, crash horribly, use your wits to build a better rig, and get as far as you can with whatever spare parts you find on your way.

Welcome to the Ultimate Expedition!

Journey over grueling mountains, hazardous swamps, and bone-dry deserts on a distant world far from civilization - it is just you, your fellow adventurers and the amazing, jet-powered hover-buggy you built yourself. Explore, crash your vehicle, build a better one, and get as far as you can with whatever spare parts you find along your way.

Trailmakers is about building very awesome vehicles and machines, but you don’t need an engineering degree to get started. The intuitive builder will get you going in no time. Everything you build is made from physical building blocks. Each block has unique features like shape, weight and functionality. They can be broken off, refitted and used to build something new. Individually the blocks are fairly simple, but combined the possibilities are endless.

Expedition Mode is the challenging campaign mode of Trailmakers. You are competing in an off-world rally expedition with only a few building blocks to get you started. You must build, tinker with and rebuild your machine to progress. Journey through a big world, overcome deep gorges, angry wildlife and dangerous weather to progress and find new parts that will juice up your machine. The world in Expedition Mode will test your survival skills and ingenuity.

Sandbox Mode is where you want to head for an unrestricted, sandbox, vehicle-building experience. Here you can build anything you can dream of, and play around with it in the world of Trailmakers. It is a great place to test out crazy machines, and experiment with the physics engine. With tons of different blocks, hinges, thrusters and interactive vehicle parts - the skybox is the limit.

Trailmakers is even more fun if you play it with other people. Build cool vehicles and compete in mini-game modes with your friends or other Trailmakers online. Build a helicopter, send it to your friend, and shoot them out of the sky. Put two seats on a tank, and let your friend control the turret. As we get further in Early Access development Expedition Mode will also be adapted to multiplayer.

I love titanfall. Viper is one of if not my favorite boss fight. Highly recommend you play the game scrapman!

"Voodoo 1, Viper's on station. Your journey ends here, Pilot. The skies belong to me. Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide."
  • @Gomorragh
i agree on the cyberpunk diorama, imagine if that maker made you a hide and seek map could could never be sure as to how many hiding places you had passed
  • @TheSniperjet
Thanks for the shoutout with Northstar! I’ll be sure to improve the design over time with walking and such. I plan on making more of the titans when I’ve got some time!
  • @lukkram
Glad you liked the Pumpkin, I had better builds this year, but they didn't win bc of other reasons, but we had a blast with Metalburger talking about this. Next year will definitely be mine!

VIPER?! "Voodoo 1, vipers on station, the skys belong to me, no where to run, nowhere to hide."
  • @VroomNDoom2602
Edit: Alright, I approve of the editor now. Yo, Viper made the thumbnail! Voodoo one, Vipers on workshop. This video ends here, pilot, The subs belong to me. Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide.

So many great builds this year! Glad you liked my diorama builds. Thanks to Scrapman I discovered this amazing game

As great as all of these builds are, the dioramas take the cake, hands down. There's just so much creativity packed into using so many small blocks to represent bigger objects, especially that city scene at 2:51 Also, Scrapman, you can actually set altitude sensors to detect water (by default, they're set to "ignore waves") instead of strictly relying on a set altitude value, which is why the train at 16:33 was able to hover over water. I believe this feature was added in the High Seas update and it's been great for making hybrid land/water builds without needing hoverpads

27:55 nice, you could use this idea in an air battle for distraction. its harder to follow you when your trail moves independently.
  • @crazybird199
13:00 yeah, that one uses Doon's atmosphere ending to trigger events, so I wasn't sure if it would actually work

I wrote down every win for Multiplayer Monday to see who has the most wins by the end of the year, and the points are: In last place is Cosmo with 7 points, Tied in second place is ScrapMan and MoonBo with 16 points, And in first place is Khan with 20 points. Congratulations Khan in first place you're the king of Multiplayer Monday for 2023.

My pick is Vipers Titan from Titanfall 2, (totally) normal pumpkin, and the custom made trailmakers trailer because yes we NEED 1X1 block.
  • That Space Marines speeder is so accurate! I look forward to more 40k content. Heh, Scrapman is a Mechanicus Tech Priest, or at least an adept!
  • my personal favorite was the viper mech from titanfall 2, because its nice to see a refrence to the game and the build was very well done
  • just so the creator of the condor crow will know that condors and not from the crow family but from the buzzard family, Condors are vultures and Ravens are in the crow family.
  • @SirNobleIZH
Missile truck is my kind of humor. Just, yes.
  • @Bartexoll
I’m currently building a massive version of the mothership from homeworld I’ve built half of it in 6 hours and I’m double to complexity limit lol I was hoping to get it done by the end of this year but that ain’t gonna happen
  • you could totally do a space train battle. fly roughly parallel and shoot each other with weapons with no auto aim. maybe have different weapon in each car rather than changing out each round. the last car has emp, tnt next to the cockpit?
