Thanks, Sir. I appreciate this video and you taking the time to explain everything. Invaluable info for those of us who are just getting started in this activity. This was very helpful.

Thank You so much for making this video. You answered all my questions with how to install the adapter and how the celestron 130slt telescope works with a camera attached.

Really helpful! Just got a 8", and I'm getting a camera on after this video. Thanks!

I have a 130 slt as well and for many years I've been using a barlow for prime focus no problem. The barlow I have screws directly to the T-ring, thus it pulls the focus in a little closer.

Thanks for sharing, it helped me a lot, a big hug from the Brazilian community,
  • Ooh, you've just given me some extra options, and a use for that middle tube. I was always running it prime because I couldn't get focus with the tube, but now I understand it's supposed to take an eyepiece... Thanks, been looking for a nice tutorial for this for ages!
  • Love how the clouds just faded the out, and fade in the moon. Beautiful...

Thank you for the video, my roommate has an old DSLR that he isn't using and I just started taking photos of the moon. I got a phone adapter for it and was able to snap some good shots with it. Time to step up with a DSLR adapter :D

I should be getting my DSLR adapter pieces any day now and this is very helpful. Thanks.

Love those ambient night sounds as well.

enjoyed your Moon & Jupiter tour, nice narration.
  • Thank you. I bet I've spent close to 200 bucks trying to get my D5100 to connect to my reflector. After watching your video it works!
  • @SyberPrepper
Looks great! Thanks for sharing all your settings and setup.

Just bought a similar kit. Thanks so much from a star watcher who was three years in the future. 😋

I’m new to this and I still have a lot to learn, no idea what fx means but good to hear about some of the camera settings. I have the t-ring adapter and the piece to fit onto that and into the 2 inch focuser but no result able picture but I did notice how dirty my primary mirror was when I was lining up the scope on the moon and got that cleaned today.
