  • It’s me again. I’m 81 tomorrow and I’ll say it till the end. They were GREAT! Steve did it all. Played every instrument and let’s not forget “Cant find my way Home”
  • 69 here . No mistaking Traffic. One of the great bands of all time. Along with so many others through the decades .

Even in '94, after 20 years, they could just comeback and effortlessly become classic Traffic.

Steve never looks stressed. Always looks laid back and cool. He just goes out and plays like he's just jamming with some friends.
  • Steve Winwood is probably one of the most unassuming rock gods ever.  A gentleman superstar.
  • What a superb band Traffic . Winwood is a brilliant multi instrumentalist , singer and writer the like of which doesnt seem to be around these days. The music takes me back to very happy hippie days when life was so good and music was the best.
  • As humble as Winwood can be, he has always been respected by the greatest rock musicians in history. He is what is considered to be a Virtuoso in music, So many different instruments he can play well, such a great composer, and a superb singer. His contributions to the rock history are endless.

I was lucky enough to see the original Traffic at the Academy of Music in NY way back in 73 with Dave Mason and Chris Wood. The best music ever.

Met Jim Capaldi the drummer and George Harrison in a camera shoppe I worked at in Massachusetts. What a cool guy. Got to chat with them both for 30 minutes and got an autograph. Best day ever.

What a great concert to watch while staying home on a Sunday afternoon. I also pulled out my "Low Spark Of High Heeled Boys" album purchased in 1972. This is one of my fav albums. Traffic is one heck of a funk rock band; heavy on the funk. I'am 78 years old now and still rocking.

I was at this show. Traffic by far was the biggest surprise for the whole weekend. I couldn’t believe how great they were. I was amazed that Woodwind played guitar for the whole set (I associated him with keyboards). Still blown away almost 30 years later.

Steve Winwood has one of the most unmistakable voices in music history!

Back when bands were bands. 😊 Loved the heat.🎷🎻🪕🎼🎸🎺🎶🎧 Did it all. ✌️😎🎯
  • I have listened to this at least 50 times. Steve's voice was the background music of my childhood in the 1960s and I didn't even know it! All I knew was Spencer Davis Group or Blind Faith. I didn't realize that his voice was the thread woven through so many memories. God Bless you, Steve! I love your music.
