We've been absolutely floored by Eastman's recent performances against some of the biggest names in the acoustic world. It seems that they're able to compete with the likes of Taylor, Gibson, and Martin, but at a fraction of the price. What is happening?? Watch as Paul & Quinton break down the differences between their 3 most popular dreadnoughts… the E1D, E10D, and E20D.

  • You have hit on a key point and discovery of Eastman acoustic guitars is their resonance....just amazing sensitivity, amazing headroom, defined projection and musical tone! Really superb guitars costing well below their materials, design and craftsmanship....one reason Bourgeois has chosen them to build their Touchstone series. BTW the E1D with sapele/spruce has unbelievable resonance and is hugely loud! BTW...keep in mind these guitars are new, just wait for what a few months of playing will do!

Just got an E1D delivered to me today and it’s just great - unbelievable value for money at £475 (UK) and plays graet straight out of the box … got it in the classic finish which I love … have a couple of Martins which I love dearly but this is great for the garden or chucking in the back of the car for trips away … very happy !

E1D is a killer guitar. I put a K&K pure mini in mine and I could not be happier. I hate to admit it, but it sounds better than my USA made dreadnought. I also love the satin finish. Just so practical.

Just paid for the E1D, getting an Anthem installed as well. Thanks for the review, it helped my purchasing decision

Theirs no better reviewers than these 2. I enjoy every video 🤘🏼

All three sound great. Lots of bass and lots of clarity too. I think they sound as good as some of the Martins and Gibsons you've demoed. This was particularly interesting to me because I've played an Eastman dreadnought for over ten years. It sounded good when I bought it, but now, it's amazing. And it's the loudest acoustic guitar I've ever played.
  • I agree with Quinton, I like the E1D the most. It seems the most "alive and ready"...

That 1D sounds exactly like my 1D. Thats manufacturing art.

That E10 , and I'll call it figured Mahogany is beautiful. Ive had 3 different D18s and none of them looked anything like that. Im gonna have to find a Eastman dealer and check them out in person

I just recently discovered Eastman guitars, and I'm thoroughly impressed! I purchased a used one this week and it sounds and plays as good as a Martin I once had for a fraction of the cost!
  • Recently bought the E10D and haven't looked back once!! Played the E20D same day, and the E10D just resonated more to me. Big difference between the 10 and my other go-to, a Taylor 314ce. And just what I was aiming for!

Great comparison. Fun to hear about your guitars, Quinton! Way to go, Eastman!
  • I traded a 2010 Gibson SG Classic 2 years ago today for an Eastman E10D. Never looked back. Never really even missed that guitar.

I have the E20D and love it. I've owned Martin 18's, 28's and 35's, Collings D1A, Bourgois, Huss and Dalton Gibson J45 and Advanced Jumbos, Santa Cruz and Guilds. The E20D keeps up with all of them. Picking up an E10D next week.
  • My favourite in this comparison is the E1d. It sounded a bit warmer and was all there out of the gate!!
  • @jtelevenoyd1571
These Eastman acoustics sound great, and the wood on some of them is really striking. The price points make them doubly amazing, especially the E1D.
  • @MisterNiles
Wow. Sympathetic resonance! Just imafgine what you'll discover after your first day! The E10D is my favorite, based on this video.
  • @nellatrab
I have to agree…I preferred the e1d…it seemed much more balanced and appears to be the least expensive of the three. Great review guys, ditto Quinton flannel looks good on you…but don’t get carried away with that 😂
