No power in Houston AGAIN! We spent four days without it a month ago. Centerpoint Energy needs to fix their infrastructure!!!!!!

Prayers to my fellow Texans and other people affected by Hurricane Beryl. They need to weatherproof our infrastructure. This is happening far too often to be comfortable living here anymore.

Thank god this was only a Cat 1. We had 110 mph gusts here in northwest houston. Was pretty gnarly around 930 am.

Something needs to be done with the infrastructure, sure it's a powerfull storm but taxes are super high and electricity fees as well, this can't be happening every storm we have, fix the damn electric grid!!!
  • My prayers with those who affected by Hurricane Beryl on the Gulf Coast. Stay safe. Take care. God Bless
  • @alksjda
Better not ask for govt assistance to fix that private grid

Houston is closed to all major storms for the foreseeable future. Please don’t come again!

A typical Houston summer. Stay safe y'all, and we'll be happy to take some of that rain here in San Antonio when y'all get enough. I was really hoping Beryl would make landfall down near Brownsville so we'd get the rain this time, but nope.
