As soon as we heard Dirk was joining, we knew Chuck was going to tell this story for the 100th time πŸ˜…

It's still fascinating that chuck saw dirk to be a great player at a young age back then. I love that story even if I heard it so many times.

I hope Dirk returns again to the inside the nba crew. He’s nothing but good vibes!

Man as a german its such a honor seeing the love dirk receives in the states. We are so proud of you dirkules. Unfortunately we don’t respect our sport legends like you guys.

Look at dirk smiling all the time with the new veneer πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
  • The most under appreciated and most underrated player of all time in my opinion. Dirk never got the respect he deserved when playing but I think people are now realizing just how influential and great he truly was.
  • I can completely relate with what Dirk said. I never really followed basketball before the 1992 Olympics. I knew basketball personalities like Kareem, Magic and Patrick Ewing. I hadn't really seen a lot of Michael Jordan, who ended up being my favorite player. So watching the 1992 Olympics I saw one guy dominating. That was Charles Barkley. I ended up falling in love with the game because of him.

Dirk was my favorite player growing up. Absolute class all around and one of the best players ever. His ring with the mavs upsetting the trio in Miami will be one of the greatest championships EVER
  • Dirk will always be the guy in Dallas. Luka may end up being more successful but Dirk ended the title drought, and that 2011 Mavs run was no joke.
