  • Thanks for your excellent, unbiased review, very professionally put together with no waffle – thank you :-) regarding battery life, have you considered using the solar panel which can be attached? I’m thinking about that and based upon other reviews, it looks like a good solution for £35-ish. I noticed on your video when you were talking about using it with the Apple “Home” device, the screen said something like “downgraded to 1080p because you have used this setting“ – have you used it in conjunction with Apple “Home” and what is your view of the quality? – Many thanks – Peter

Interesting review, thank you Is there a possibility to save the video files to an external usb stick or an external disk ?

I used this set up to EXACTLY communicate with someone (my mom) in my garden! 😂 Four days into using these cameras and the two way audio feature proved its value for me. My mom was about to open the door to an “unwanted visitor” thinking it was her nephew and I was able to communicate with her at just the right moment. This action DID fend of the ‘intruder’ also, so I couldn’t be happier with my eufy setup!

Thanks Mark. What’s the motion detection range of these cameras? One of mine may be 10m from a back door & 15m from a gate & I’m not sure if I should plan to mount it closer. Also, those of us with iPhones will be paying for the 2K functionality but unable to utilise it correct, since 1080p is the maximum supported resolution? But is this only within the HomeKit App? Will we still have 2K footage within the Eufy App?

This one or eufy 2c pro or argus pro 3? Can this camera store in 2k file in homebase?
  • Nice review :) What happens if power to the house is switched off? All the cameras wont work as the base station will turn off?

Thanks for the review. Can you have this camera wired in?
  • Great review, thank you. 2 questions I hope you can assist with: 1. I’ve read that nighttime disables the ‘Human’ detection and instead reverts to ‘Detect everything’ - is this the case? I’m concerned that my dog and local possums would set it off all over the place!? 2: The Eufy HomeBase 3 has just been released and I know you can use it with previous Gen cameras, but, will it still support HomeKit Secure video? Thanks again, great stuff!
