He says in the song “ He’s a cowboy” well, that’s one description Jon of you but sadly my description would be selfish, not much respect for women ( unless they feed your desires there & then) Jon😭 I find this so ironic! Jon sings my partners song that he wrote “ The Boys Are Back In Town” with Phil Lynnot yet he went to great lengths to stop Ritchie Sambora offering this then young girl a song as I had begun my singing career. Ritchie bumped into my manager in New York, Ritchie was so generous kind and lovely by offering to meet me in UK with a view to offer me a song. I had just signed to influx Records and released my first single “Hungry Waters”. Slippery When Wet just released I went to my local gig the boys arrived in Ipswich ( I’m from Norwich). Went to breakfast Jon sitting at the table with security, he beckons me over to join him. I sat we chatted, I then excused myself went to my room. Next a knock at the door it was Jon Alec and a roadie looking for a “ PARTY” I declined I was there for business. Jon sent his boys out of my room, he wanted more……much more than I realised. I felt embarrassed really I never gave him that hint, so I turned his advances down and in doing so hurt that big ego. In doing so jon went to great lengths to stop Ritchie Sambora from offering me any song, “ I’m so sorry Karen it’s Jon’s band, it’s his show, he controls everything. I sat at the bar, minding my own when jon jumped up and did something so hurtful in front of my own friends local people I knew it was shocking. The whole room went quiet. Something happened along the way that I will tell one day but the total irony is that Jon Bon Jovi sings my baby daddy son from Thin Lizzy yet he stopped Ritchie Sambora from being so kind and generous to me by wanting to offer this country girl a song to kick start her rock career. Not easy when born with a disability too but that made no difference to the “wonderful Mr Jon Bon Jovi”. He prides himself on having his daughter but if they really knew how dad treated women on tour ………😔😔😔 I’m just so shocked even to today what really happened if people really knew…….😭💜💜💜

Doubt he will ever hit those high notes like he once did. Most aging singers can’t.

His voice was abysmal pre surgery - somewhere around 2010 it went bad - but it doesnt sound much better now sadly. I truly think he wont ever get it back live
