Oh this isn’t what I thought it was , nevermind
  • I've been looking for a guide to edging for a while now, and this is by far the best one. Thank you for teaching me how to properly edge! I love edging now!
  • @NoNameSkejter
This is the best tutorial I've seen not only edgidng but jumping overall . And since I am perfectionist I've seen lots of them. Helped me understand it even better.
  • That was such a good video. Thanks for putting this entertaining and informative high-value video together so we can all improve and have more fun on the water. You, sir, are a gem!
  • @ChimesRS
From observation you have a really good attitude about life in general, it’s great to see creative genius combined with gratitude balanced with fun in your videos & other business ventures over the years. Quite inspiring. Thanks for putting out good content & good vibes in general. 🙏🏻

I edge like a mofo both heel and toeside, because that's all I do - and power loop carving. Sometimes I put the wingtip of my kite in the water. But I've designed and built special boards that allow for waaay more control. Most kiters don't fly their kites low enough. Great video btw.

Yes, I agree! Very lucky that we have such an amazing sport like this! Im absolutely fascinated by it! Mainly because I love anything that flys. The whole concept of the kite and the power they generate just fascinates me.. I dont have to look at the kite much anymore but I do just because I love watching it. Kinda like watching a girl walking in a nice pair of jeans.. ok.. maybe not that nice but... 😅
  • I was waiting for this video since "take off like a pro", I wasn't able to jump higher than 10m at this time. Today I got 25m+ PR thanks to your videos, on my way to the 30m club. Thanks again for all your job 🤙🔥
  • @XE-4
Brilliant breakdown and explanation of the most important skill to learn once you can fly a kite. You've filmed plenty of 10/10 videos on the past, so I guess I'd have to rate this one 11/10. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

My wife is properly underwhelmed with the information contained in this tutorial 😉
  • I think it's the most useful video I've seen to improve jumping. It really makes sense and analyzes all the aspecs that matter. Thanks a lot for all the effort and advices. I will try to apply everything on the water. The problem is that I live in a very choppy spot and it is so difficult to keep the edge. You give some advice for choppy conditions towards the end of the video, but it would be so helpful if you could please devolop further on this issue, since I have not found any video that specifically tackles the problem of jumping in choppy conditions.
  • @Sunny991987
Best explanation until now! Very useful. I would love to see an explanation video about the perfectly timed take off point. The point when 3 things has to be perfectly timed (Kite position), (sheeting out the bar without loosing line tension), (edging and find the moment to takeoff).

Mike, Thank’s for this awesome vídeo. Interessant thing: you friend Anthon said in Learn to Fly Vídeo that we should ride most upwind possible for high jumps. Now, you say we can go crosswind for most lift…
