My cat was vomiting a lot due to kidney disease. I took her to her vet who she had only seen for shots and low appetite. She did blood work gave her sub q fluids, an anti nausea shot. Two days later my cat is severely vomiting again and I noticed it was after giving her elura the appetite stimulant. She had me come back in and did two X-rays gave more fluids, another anti nausea shot and a shot to coat the stomach she did this 2 days in a row.My cat now wasn’t pooping for three days and she said don’t give her pumpkin or laxatone bring her back I need to do 2 more X-rays and see what she needs, she may need an endoscopy which is about 5 grand (which I don’t have). I said can we just try an enema for cats? Baby enemas are not for cats n toxic. She goes oh for sure I have cat safe ones it’s gonna need the X-ray n hospital stay so maybe about another 350 dollars, mind you I’m already 1 grand in bills with 3 visits for all this, I said I have no credit left on the card. She goes oh you don’t? Well give her laxatone then. Wtf? She had said no no don’t do that! But now it’s ok??? I got my cats record took her to the vet at the local pound they x-rayed n gave the enema for 95 total. Said give her pumpkin. My cat is eating fine and relaxing now almost back to normal. That vey did not ever call to ask how my cat was doing never wanted to give feedback and when she heard there was no money left she fell of the grid. We couldn’t reach her only her staff would say she’ll call and she never did. Be careful out there pet parents some vets are like the mechanic that wants you to keep coming back to drain your funds. Thank you for your kind heart and wealth of knowledge ❤

Be careful , Benedryl changed -it’s not always diphenhydramine anymore, please read the ingredients! If it isn’t diphenhydramine don’t give it to your baby! Usually now it’s the non name brands that use diphenhydramine now.
  • Murray is the perfect assistant! He's adorable (and tolerant lol!)
  • At the end of my little Taj's life 2 years ago, her kidney disease was giving her terrible nausea. I gave her your CBD drops which really helped her feel better and she was able to relax and rest in her final days. 😌

I am so jealous of the way your furbabies allow you to practice on them. When I try to perform any type of remedies on my 2 pups and kitty, I wind up needing medical attention more than they do. Good job, Doc Jones. 🐶🐶🐱❤

What I find interesting is that vets are quick to treat our pets without asking us and charge us through the roof. This happened to me. Gave my cat an injection without telling me why, the prescribed my cat tablets then charged me 90 pounds. I found the tablets online for 6 pounds. And also if they loved our animals so much why don't they warn us about cat foods that poison our cats? Well... we all know the answer to that one.

I thoroughly appreciate you & all of the knowledge you share with us. There are vets out there that are so money hungry they refuse to tell you any of these things. Taking a cat to the vet is so stressful for them it's awesome l to be able to treat a few minor ailments at home. Your a vet that truly cares and that is so refreshing to see.
  • Thank you so much doc. With the current crisis in vet medicine it is so hard to even get an appointment with the veterinarian who will see our pets. Videos like these are such a blessing 🙏🙏🙏🙏
  • Murray is awesome!! What a patient and easy going kitty! In the US, Robaxin and the eye drops shown are RX.

Very informative. Thank you Doc. However, I wish you provided a list of the drugs in the description. That way we know the correct SPELLING of the drug's active ingredient. Thank you.

Your channel truly helps a animal lover like me since I am on SS and disability and can not afford a veterinarian, it costs enough just to feed seven cats and two dogs, all my cats come from one mother and I have a hard time getting her to get fixed she is semi-feral comes home to eat, there is only one place to take her to to get fixed Pet Luv and it takes two months to get in, so now I have three more kiitens.
  • Sadly, Robaxin is only available by prescription here in the US.

You are an extraordinary help in this day and age when alot of us are struggling with money but we don't want to see our babies suffer. Thank you. God Bless you and yours. Please stay safe.

This was so helpful, thank you! Whenever my cats get ill, it always seems to be on Friday nights. Nice to know there's something I can give them to buy some time until Mondays.

Thank you so much Dr. Jones!!!! We put our sweet old Man, Marshall on your feline formula and cbd last year, both have made so much difference in his life it would take my own vlog to fully explain but I bless you for what you are doing both with this channel and your products! I swear I am not a bot or a paid plug (you can send me the photo test if you want, lol) Folks this guy is the REAL DEAL...he's the kind of vet you hope for when you take your buddy through those clinic doors.
