Jim Henson never liked coffee, which is how he came up with all the ideas for these commercials. He was Wontkins and Wilkins was everybody and anybody who tried to make him drink coffee. ☕️

We are currently investigating the murders, and trying to get this murderer. Their names are Wontkins and Willkins. A theory about why Willkins was killing Wontkins is that he refused Willkin’s coffee.

My mom was a guinea pig for the original Sesame Street as a toddler. It’s one of her earliest memories. Her uncle worked with Jim Henson to design Big Bird, so that’s how this happened. It’s not a shock that we’re big Jim Henson fans in our family. He had such a sick sense of humor and I love it.

These commercials are just amazing as a whole, but the one where he swordfights with Wontkins is absolute art. Like, "Some learn, some don't," while Wilkins wipes his sword is, as another commenter said, raw as hell.
