The flavor combinations really are endless. I wanted to add about a half a dozen more flavors to this video - ha! Maybe I'll have to do a follow-up video. ;) But I'd love to hear what your favorite flavor combos are! xo - Lisa
  • 1. 1/2 cup of oats. 2. 1/2 cup of milk. 3. 1/4 cup youghurt. 4. 1 tbsp chia seeds. 5. 1tbsp honey.

As a college student, this is the way to get good amount of nutrients and also saves a lot of time for cooking! I'm taking health and nutrients class and this overnight oats will significantly improve my meal plan and my health overall. Thanks for the inspiration!!
  • I don’t normally leave comments, but I had to give my thoughts on this video. This is probably the best recipe for overnight oats I have tried (and I’ve tried tons). This is a great base recipe to do whatever you want, with whatever flavor you want. The consistency is perfectly smooth, and still very substantial. Almost pudding-like. The perfect size for single serving. I can’t say enough about this recipe. Simply perfection. All the recipes on this channel are perfect and work perfectly every time. Seriously!!!

oh my gosh, this would be a great creative thing you could do with kids in a daycare... they do the project in the afternoon before they leave, then the next morning, they can have it for breakfast... this is an amazing idea.
  • Just FYI for anyone interested, the basic recipe she recommends (1/2 cup oats, 1/2 cup 2% milk, 1/4 cup plain yogurt, 1 tbsp chia seeds, and 1 tbsp honey) comes to 380 calories. Obviously it'll be more if you add any extras to make the more complex versions. Didn't see that anywhere on here and thought it should be.

This video should be the standard for everyone making recipe videos. Never seen a more helpful video like this.

Made this recipe 2 days ago in just one mason jar. Now I have 6 more in my fridge! These are so dang good. I made mine with peanut butter, strawberries and bananas all mixed together with the base recipe. I subbed the yogurt for non dairy vanilla yogurt and I didn’t use chia seeds. Still just as delicious and creamy!

Am I the only one that finds it weirdly comforting to see a youtuber put a lid on a jar and store it in a fridge without making it "instagramable" just stir it and pop it in. Nothing about cleaning the glass or anything like that. I love it!

FOR PEOPLE THAT DON’T USE CUPS :) 170 gram oats 500ml milk 250 gram yoghurt 43 gram chia seeds 85 gram maple syrup

As an apprehensive non-cook, I appreciate the step-by-step instructions and the different flavor options. I have all the ingredients and I’m kind of excited to experiment.

I am up late at 12:45 in the morning. I have issues with sleeping and life been kinda overwhelming lately. And in the morning I’m so tired and rushing to work sometimes not even eating well enough. I thought about meal prep ideas and looked up some. The first was the egg muffins that I honestly never heard of before. I stumbled upon that video of yours and it was great. Another idea I looked up was overnight oats and low and behold I stumbled on your video again. These are really great and I may just be one person of many in your comments, but you are honestly a blessing for this. With your great ideas and happy sounding attitude these are really great. I can’t wait to try these soon. Thank you very much. 😊😊😊
  • My favorite combo is dates, peanut butter, and shredded coconut with a little sprinkle of cinnamon. Soooo good.

I just want to thank you for taking the time, to show us some healthy, and delicious breakfast choices. Omg they look so good I can’t wait to try them. ❤️
  • I was looking for healthy meal options and came across your video and I’m sure glad I did . I made this recipe last night and I’m blown away it was delicious!
  • @Julia-jf2pk
Just finished the first batch of the basic recipe, and I'll be making another one! It's delicious with mixed berry compote.
  • This is also great as a desert after dinner but very filling! A snack in the afternoon 😋. Not just for breakfast!
  • @user-nx8ux5ls7q
Do you even realise how helpful you are for people like me? Starting the first in the middle of a pandemic and struggling with no time to make breakfast. I can't thank you enough!
  • Nice to see so many versions! I use wide mouth mason jars instead of traditional shaped mason jars that she uses in this video. Easier to add ingredients, stir, remove contents and even eat out of if you want.
