I never get tired of grouper hunting ! I love this episode. The hunt where you kept after the big grouper and finally get the shot is great ! I loved it !

This mutton spawn is amazing, I really find it fascinating to look at your bottom machine and compare it to what you see at the bottom. If you can, try to continue posting these "Here's what the fish finder shows -- then here's the actual bottom diving" - I don't dive so this intel is AMAZING!

Fantastic episode!!! Don’t know how you do it. Videos just get better and better. I’m sure that’s goal. Thanks for sharing.
  • I really enjoy your videos Aaron. Just sent this one to my son to watch. That mutton spawn is wild. I've been to the key tons and never caught the spawn before. I don't free dive though just fish. Done plenty of scuba over the years though. Keep the videos coming!
  • Aaron I was just watching a 3 month old video you make of snapper fishing. You came home after fishing and said that you were living “in the good old days”. For some reason that statement stopped me in my tracks. I had been working all night and accidentally happened on your YouTube channel and binged about 3 hours. I already loved the channel after a couple of hours, but when I saw the last video, I couldn’t resist in reaching out. I have a bizarre life working all night in the field of medicine. It’s a lonely life of working from home and living vicariously through other people’s adventures. Thirty years ago, I lived in a car with a dog and a friend and followed the Grateful Dead. Mountain climbed, scuba dived, and hiked every trail I could find. I was living my, “good old days”. Since then, I found a different path which involved children and house and all of the things go along with that. It was all good and perfect and I couldn’t be happier about my choices. There is nothing better about “the good old days” than to see your children grow up and be happy and successful. I can vicariously look forward to that for you. You look like you are on that path. And you seem like the kind of person who will appreciate it and know what to do with it when the time comes. When I was in medical school, I was in Jacksonville. I drove my 18 ft boat to the keys many times with my best friend for lobster season and dolphin fishing. We camped and survived on nothing but had the best of, “the good old days”. I’m older now but not old. My kids are awesome and successful. I’m in a new place of living, “the good old days”. I’m coming to the keys in June. I’m bringing my kids and my boat. I’d love to take you and your wife out to dinner. I’d just like to show you my gratitude for doing what you do and inspiring people to live their best life, while at the same time, doing what you love to do in the right way that you do it. Let me know if you’d like to have dinner with us. We would love to have you and your wife. Richard

I am happy you are again showing spear fishing. You do such a good job of the way you show your fishing.

This channel is truly unique on Youtube. I am a 64 year old US expat living on a canal in Freeport on Grand Bahama. I'll be retiring soon and freediving is something I want to do more of. I know from 30 years of boating that these freediving skills take many years to be even a little good at so I will be limiting my goals to 30-35', but there are other skills including species identification underwater and knowing what is good to eat that can take a ton of experience as well. These vids allow me to experience these things through the eyes of an expert. Thanks very much for the time and effort it requires to video document these things while trying to live them in real time!
