So i take them for an out of the box smash up my local climb to see how well they hold up. This isnt a performance review of the wheel- more of a chance to take then from being delivered to riding them hard to see how they hold up. This is a pretty hard cycle if you go full gas and after a few weeks with no cycling this climb almost killed me.
Does anyone else hate setting up tubeless tyres?

2nd set of superteam wheels now on various bikes over the last 6 years, always been good, rolling very well, and doing what I need them to. Great service too when purchasing on ebay.Good to see them evolving and growing to working from a website.

Gave up on running tubeless one year ago now. Never looking back.

I stopped using tubeless for my road bikes! Tubes with sealant is very quickly. Little heavy but no mess, 1/2 the time. Cool look 👍

White spokes with your black/white frame looks great 🎉

I always whack them with the 220psi shot(my pump's chamber isn't a large volume) then pump the crap out of them with the floor pump before all the air all goes out. Usually it stabilisers around 40psi then slowly goes up as I pump until the tyre pop's onto rim bed. But I usually put sealant in before I start which seems to help.

Yes I hate setting up tubeless tyres so I've gone to TPU tubes weighing only 26gm. This makes the wheel lighter than a tubeless with 50gms of mucky sealant sloshing around in them. Yes I get the occasional puncture but I carry 2 spare TPU tubes weighing a total of 52gms and repair the punctured tube when I get home...easy peasy. No mess...no fuss 🙂

I love tubeless no issues apart from shitty Silca sealant now on Peatys Biofibre Conti 5000 and Zipp wheels is an easy install

Those spokes look awesome on your black and white bike… unfortunately they are shiny and not matt what would be awesome.

Nice
-
white spokes look alright with that white frame. On any other frame colour i think they'd look shite.
-
like the look of them, but if you fix them at the side of the road then a bit pointless
-
Looking good max nice wheels

Easiest way to mount tubeless tires is with a strap, tighten the strap around the edge of the rim and pump it up with just a regular Pump and they mount 99% of the time.

Great video as always, i agree on many points here, some tubeless tyres you need a degree and alot of luck to seat, others ive fitted seat right away, always a concern if i punctured out on a ride. cycling cost are just getting insane now, a particular clothing company who i swear by, think they have started selling items now with huge price tags as a dare to see if we all buy them. 14mins in those folk asking if your alright hahah, brillaint.. walking away its ok hes one of those strava wan@*ers .. keep up the good work fella

Good review. Worth a nosey then. For tubeless I’ve used soapy water to get tyres to seat instead of sealant. It’s cheaper lol

Come on now Max, cut that grass 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

for the price it's nothing to write home about. You can contact Yuanan (the OEM of Elite), and Leon can get you the same rim profile, probably lighter, shipped to your door, for probably 30% less.

28mm outer width is already outdated, though. ? The future is wider.

Can you take them to your locak bike shop and ask the mechanic for his opinion? Did they have enough grease? Are they true? Balanced?
