The nWo are back and better than never!
A lot of fans complain about the nWo 2000 or the WWE's stale version of the stable... and rightfully so.
But this is by far the worst of the best.

The Band formed in TNA in 2010 consisting of The Outsiders Scott Hall and Kevin Nash, the former Syxx Sean Waltman, Eric Young, and of course Bubba The Love Sponge.
They also implied the involvement of (Hollywood) Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff.
And they did absolutely nothing of note.

This whole era felt like an endurance test for Eric Young. World Elite The brain dead ODB stuff The Band It's like how much character shifts and swings and bad ideas can we do to not make this guy quit. Jokes on them.

The only thing i remember from this time was when Hogan came back, and I took my dad to a doctor and was in the waiting room. A commercial came on for TNA with Hogan, and I overheard this older lady say, "Dont that Hulk Hogan know he's too old to be doing that there wrestling?". A 70 year old grandma had better booking sense than TNA at this time.
  • Hogan: wish my friends were here Hall and Nash: you said there's a payday to do nothing. X-pac: I ain't doing shit

"and of course Bubba The Love Sponge" ... I'm out.
  • I remember, when Hulk Hogan got to TNA in 2010, I was following TNA here in You Tube. In TV they showed WWE here in Finland between 2002-2006 in SubTV. All I remember in summer of 2002 and Hulk Hogan in Smackdown! winning every match until Smackdown! of August 2002, when Brock Lesnar beat Hulkster clean. Crazy to think Hulk Hogan debuted in 1977 and is currently 70 years old and still makes cameo appearances in WWE. I think Ric Flair is 75 years old and wrestled at 73 years old. Hall is dead, so RIP and Kevin Nash was born in 1959, which means he's at his 60s. X-Pac was born in 1972, same year, than The Rock.

The sole positive to come out of this whole debacle was that the titles being vacated opened the door for MCMG to finally win them.

nWo was touted as "a lethal dose of POISON" Instead it was THREE STOOGES The Band in TNA wasn't bad. Hall; Nash and Syxx Pac It wasn't about TAKEOVER It was about maintaining THE KLIQ vibe

We're getting the band back together! I'm with you, Vee...I thought it couldn't get any worse than nWo 2000 and WWE's nWo (and I'm a huge nWo fan) .....until The Band in TNA

I actually enjoyed nWo 2000. It didnā€™t last long but I loved heel Jeff Jarrett in WCW.
  • @nexusgiga
If nash had said "I needed someone who the back trusted to trojan horse myself into the back and make me look good then reveal the nwo" I'd have bought it šŸ˜Š

You cant call it a "failed stint". Nash and Hall were over despite tv rating numbers
