How different does Starship treat Wonyoung and the rest of IVE?

I hope this does not sound rude but here's the thing: starship is a COMPANY and like all companies they exist for the sole purpose of making profits and if one group/member of a group is what's making them the most money then they're gonna prioritize them and treat them way better than the other groups or members who don't bring them the same amount of profits I know it's sad but it's the truth

I feel bad for the other members but at the same time I also feel bad for WONYOUNG, because she has no say in the better treatment she gets from the company.. hopefully one day they will treat all I’ve members the same!

I think the other members are also shining even though the entertainment are misbehaving to them They have the charm that makes them stand out of their own I love all of them equally

overshadowing or not — wonyoung and yujin still open the chance for the other members to become ambassadors of several brands. you can never deny that. the other members cant complain much because without her and yujin, they know they need to start from the bottom. you think they will receive massive sales without the two former of izone members ? think again. they bring their whole fanbase to ive. people should remember that. stop blaming wonyoung for everything. i have seen several stages where one member like gaeul and yujin got a whole different outfit yet no one complains anything. but when it comes to wonyoung wow people just throw her under the bus.

Wonyoung and Yujin where pushed more to the public eye during "ELEVEN" but with "Love Dive" everyone is basically equal. To be honest it was smart move from Starship part to poromote IVE more with Wonyoung and Yujin beucse they are huge and company like Startship does not have power to make every of their group members into instant super stars. And yes, Wonyoung has a lot of solo promotions, but she was huge before IVE and she's not a rookie anymore meanwhile other group members (outside of Yujin) are rookies and rookies don't get a lot of solo promotions.

I understand peoples concern at first, but even now [when it seems to be getting a lot better] people will pick apart EVERYTHING Wonyoung does, wear's, or says. It's genuinely insane.

The thing is brands and companies want who they want to promote their things. Wonyoung and Yujin have been getting brand deals since before IVE and Starship isn’t just going to cease or step back on accepting those deals just because others in the group doesn’t get as many deals. People never actually do their research 🤦🏾‍♀️ Also I did notice that sometimes one member will stand out in different stages so I never understood the hate for Wonyoung

It's really frustrates me how people have been full time attacking her for this "Wonyoung and friends" narrative. It's not her fault that she's the only member they are looking at so that they can find something bad to say abt her. The other members aren't as popular as her or Yujin obviously coz they are new face to the industry. But they are talented as well and they're pulling new fans to the fandom. My non kpop fans cousins actually became fans of Ive because they kept asking me "who's that blonde girl" in eleven they all fell in love with Liz. The others were bias wrecked by Yujin and Rei in Love Dive. And by watching the vlogs, they're all now obsessed with Geul and Leeseo's cuteness too. My point is, haters always push this narrative that all the attention was given to Wony where in fact THEY were the ones who are giving the most attention to her by dissecting her every move to find something to hate about her duh. Haters just wanna attack her for the dumbest things gosh. I mean what can we expect? Miserable haters are mad at her for just simply existing. It girl things I guess. 🙄💅 I will never get tired of defending you and being your fan. I love you my best girl! <3

wonyoung only got different outfits like once or twice so idk why y'all are acting like it's the end of the world, other members have worn different outfits too but somehow no one seems to have a problem with that

I felt bad for the other members at first, but when I started watching the love dive performances I realized no matter what Wonyoung stands out. And it’s not accidental. Her facial expressions and dancing cause it. She may not always swing her hair but the way she portrays the song is excellent. She’s the only one that does the “my God I love it” part with feeling. Just the way she turns her face. Anyway. She is popular because she’s hard working, talented, and beautiful. So give her props. If you want other members to be popular then support them. Watch their fan cams multiple times, and post them everywhere. Complaining won’t help Edit: Just because I compliment something Wonyoung does best doesn’t mean other members don’t have their own amazing qualities. The video talks about Wonyoung so that’s who I’m commenting on. I like the entire group and honestly my fave is Gaeul

I dont hate her nor dislike her. Im not really her fan BUT I am a fan of IVE as a whole. Also, I found Wonyoung has that "expensive" quality in her. Meaning no matter what she's on, she will look super outstanding and will probably make the most in fact her visual alone is "to-die-for" so obviously her agency will make the most out of it and in the end it will benefit both the group & the company in a good way.... Hopefully...

When y'all see wonyoung have a different outfits from others y'all immediately throw hate but when one time gaeul wore a dress while the rest wore shorts y'all did nothing... What's with that huh?!, I swear some dives are secretly wonyoung antis, and people just love to hate her for nothing...so disgustangg

I got into IVE because of Rei and Liz, and then found out that Wonyoung and Yujin were in the group. I have such high hopes for IVE’s third comeback because all of their songs have been added to my library and I couldn’t stop singing ELEVEN or doing the LOVE DIVE dance after they came out

Can't blame wony... If you compare ive and wjsn, starship favours ive very much. So it isn't much of a surprise that in ive they will push wonyoung more. And also wonyoung is in major spotlight, so even if they dress other members in outstanding attire, people will turn a blind eye to them and catch wony's throat even if it isn't any of the Ive member's fault or wony's fault. It's the members that suffer more than their agency.

It’s maybe a hard pill for some to swallow, but kpop is a business and Starship has the responsibility to make the group as profitable as possible. In the end, it’s the best for EVERYONE in the group if they’re popular. Even if 1 member is being pushed to be more popular (if it's fair, is another question). It’s normal that 1 member is being pushed, because that member lures people to the group. And, as you can see with other groups (think: Jennie Blackpink, Karina Aespa and a good example of mismanagement, is Suzy in Miss A). A lot of people are drawn in because of 1 member and like the group, but then will learn more about the group and sometimes have another bias or be even more popular at the end (like how Lisa is now more popular in general). Without WO or YU, the group wouldn’t be as popular. And, at the end the other members will profit from that also. Because, the more people like the group, the more money they shall earn and the company will give attention to them. YES, company’s are somethings really misbehaving to other members. But i do think Starship is doing a decent job compared to other company’s. Don’t forget, that all the members from IVE are employees for Starship and being an idol is the job they have. And i personally think al the members shine in their own way. I was also drawn in because of the hate of WO and then looked in to IVE more because of it. PS: I KNOW they’re a lot of BAD company’s who are treating idols awfully. Yes, it is sometimes bad for a company to focus all of its focus on one person. But, maybe more attention should be paid to the real problems that a lot of company's has; as such as the physical violence, extreme standards, long days, extreme dieting, and very inhumane things that other company's do. as a Blink, I need to say Wonyoung is currently experiencing what Jennie had to endure, especially during BP's rookie days. especially the nicer clothes "issue". funny thing is there are times when Lisa got the flashier clothes and "fans" were complaining that stylists gave her ugly stuff, just for Lisa to come out and say she picked that specific clothes herself. I guess popular groups had to go through that kind of scrutiny from the public. but still, Ive's average age is still very young. I hope they have good support system helping them being an idol
