Deee-lite was so incredibly ahead of their time. I mean, really. They paved the way for SO MUCH music. And to top off being incredibly fabulous, they had integrity when it came to paying other artists for sampling! Just the BEST.

If Deee Lite only knew that this song would start the 90βs. I remember hearing this song for the first time as a kid at 13 and loved the new sound. It was literally groovy and different than your typical 80βs music.

I'm talking about clubbing around 1990-1995, I met my wife who I was with for 20 years in Los Angeles during this time period. I met her at the Mayan Club in Downtown Los Angeles. I also frequented Vertigo in Downtown Los Angeles when Prince owned it. What a beautiful time to be young. I tried everything, in all ways, and am happy I did. So I could confidently move in my right direction in my life, from experience.
