Virginia Baseball and Kansas State Baseball played in game 2 of the Charlottesville Super Regional in the 2024 College Baseball Postseason. Virginia would advance to the College World Series with a win, while Kansas State needed a win to force a winner take all game 3 on Sunday night.

One of my favorite accomplishments is revolutionizing the way sports channels create thumbnails. I've adopted two different styles, one with logos on the left and a game snapshot on the right, and the other with the logos in the middle and game snapshots representing both teams on either side.

I have a combined 4 years of experience as a Baseball & Basketball Play by Play announcer, which is where I learned my skills for commentary/breakdowns.

    0:57. I'll never understand calls like this. This is less about baseball and more about physics & geometry. If the SS applies the tag about 3 inches in front of the bag and he applies the tag to the top of the guy's thigh ... then where is the bottom 3' of the guy's leg meant to have gone if not already on the bag? I see this so often and this about the 5th one of these I've seen overturned just in the past couple of days of Wheels' awesome videos. Umps: unless the runner has 10" legs, then he's likely safe when the tag is applied right near the bag at thigh or higher on the runner. Pretty simple stuff, if you understand basic human anatomy.
