I read his book. He's now a fellow in the prestigious school he graduated from. The man is a true genius. Love these types of interviews. Probably my favorite contemporary artist through all the years and phases. ..

Great to watch. Joe playing variations on his songs and Cat Deeley doing an interview and realising she is talking to somebody who is brighter than most she has professionally encountered. A great piece of tv

I have deeply loved Joe Jackson since I was seventeen. I related to his isolation, anger, and since of feeling misunderstood. It was just a bonus that I had somehow plugged into who may well be the most creative, talented popular musician in the history of recorded music.

Love Joe's music, the drummer dave Houghton brought me up from eight years old so I have lots of memories of touring with them back in the 80s ❤

I love Joe Jackson and this was very informative about his life and taste. I didn't quite like the re-harmonization he chose to do in the verses of "it's different for" I don' think those open chords fit the melody. Regardless of that, this is why I love him, he always takes chances. He's a very sophisticated musician with an amazing vocabulary of jazz harmony, amazing energy and character. Underrated of course, I always talk about him with my friends to "convert" them to Joe Jackson
