It is amusing that they have a tip jar for cash but couldn’t accept cash for payment.

Paying cashless is also an excuse to stick that screen in front of you asking for a 15%/20%/25% Tip.

So if a business refuses to accept cash, then they have no right to charge credit card fees like places do that except cash and credit cards.

I won’t spend any money at any business that doesn’t accept cash…

Hard to enforce? Take calls from customer's who point out who's not accepting cash. It's probably the easiest law to enforce.
  • Where the law will shine is when someone refuses to pay by card, forcing cash, and they call the cops. Imagine a restaurant calling the cops on you for refusing to pay as you stand there trying to hand them legal currency and they refuse it...
  • If a business refuses cash, don't do business with them. In fact, if a business refuses any form of payment you like to use, don't do business with them.

Legal tender for ALL debts, public and private. It’s federal, how dumb are people.
  • Cashless is dangerous. A cyber attack could bring a cashless system to its knees.
  • Any business that states they don't expect cash is probably somewhere you shouldn't go

You know how you get this enforced? Go to a cashless restaurant and refuse to pay with anything other than cash after eating. Can't be charged with dine and dash if you intend to pay.

BOYCOTT any business that won’t accept cash 💵.
  • @kenneth9874
Its plainly printed on the currency "this note is legal tender for all debts, public and private".

Let the free market work. If they don't accept your cash, don't buy from their business!!!

This world is just getting so insane. Removing us from the use of cash. Electricity. Gasoline. What the fuckk is going on.
  • Pay for everything you can with cash. I never add a tip to any restaurant bill. I personally hand it to the waitress/waiter. It's not the business's right to know what I give their staff.
