This First Lady, and her husband, have been the greatest source of inspiration to me for these past eight years. I am proud, defiantly and definitively so. They deserve all the thanks in the world.

Thank you Mrs. Obama for always being bright, intelligent, articulate and brave, all the while doing so with grace and humility. I will miss you.

Michelle Obama has been phenomenal motivator, leader, encourager, and role model, not just for young people, but for anyone who has taken the time to listen to her and take her message to heart. As she prepares to leave the White House, I realize how spoiled I have become at having her as First Lady. We have had gracious First Ladies before, but never one to match Michelle Obama. She has been "the whole package" and I can't imagine ever in my lifetime seeing her equal again. I will grieve to see her leave the White House. I hope she will remain active in public life. This country needs Michelle Obama. She is a national treasure.
