theres also some quirk relating to video speeds and seeking in a video where you can fit essentially two different video tracks at once depending on the quality. forgot how it worked and i know it has nothing to do with compression but this reminded me of it

For any of you wondering what this is: Basically he made it so that 1080p youtube compression just doesnt make it invisible, and 720 and lower p's make it invisible. (This means that the little dots get ignored by anything lower than 1080 therefore its a solid colour) Edit: might be wrong
