“You guys aren’t going to bully me right!?” “Guess again, NERD!” Is my favorite line of dialogue in the entire game.

  • @Starcat5

Short answer is yes, it was my first actual RPG series and years later despite playing a ton of different JRPG its still in my top 3 alongside Xenoblade chronicles series and the of mana series

Why are people downplaying that there are THREE new bosses in the game? That is new content, and we should be happy about that!
  • Felix's laugh at the very ends blends perfectly into the ending sound effect.. It's like a continuation of his laugh.

Played through Paper Mario 64 for the 1st time months ago, once the remaster for this was announced. If you love storytelling, then these games are for you. Paper Mario 64 was amazing from start to finish & I recommend it if you haven’t tried it. I’m very excited to finally play the 2nd installment in the series today! Happy launch day!!
  • I still can't believe that they completely remade this game and I have it downloaded on my Switch rn. Totally surreal
  • Legitimately thought that this video would just be Zion going "Yes, of course it is, idiot." and then seventeen minutes of a black screen with no sound.

I loved PM 64 and TTYD. At times I enjoy PM64's simplicity a little more. It felt more tightly packaged and had better flow compared to TTYD. Mainly the issue was back tracking at times just felt tedious for the sake of padding not because it made sense. I'll buy this and I still loved TTYD. I personally just enjoyed PM64 due to the tighter package it provided but TTYD was still a good follow up, something I haven't said about any other PM game since unfortunately. The series peaked in it's first two games.

Paper Mario 64 is better than TTYD. It has better level and better worldbuilding, and is more in tune with the "Mario' feel.
  • Someone else mentioned that there were like 4 new bosses; but sadly, it looks like there's only 2. But both the new bosses have some real fun gimmicks; sadly they're both seem too easy if you know strategy to take them out.
