  • 'And playing fast and loose with them,' So fun! Thanks the inspiration k3n.
  • " Oh NO You Didn't", you were a sassy girl trying to knock of the Bobby's hat. I laughed so hard. Your still as funny now. Love the little darn and all your stories with mum and you. Warms my heart and I miss my Scottish Mum so much. Keep telling stories Please with your wonderful stitches.

Beautiful; it looks so elegant. Thank you ❤

I just love your stories and stitching! Never change doing YOU! 😊😊😊❤❤❤
  • I love how the golden darn appears to be the flower's stamens hanging over the edge of the applique. Looks so well planned.

Looks like a ornament with the darning mend. That’s an idea for a decorative mend to jeans.
  • @angierahui
That was so enjoyable and keep those wonderful stories coming. I am a rugby union fan, i especially love the All Blacks. Thanks Kathryn ❤
  • How wonderful that you were there to see Jimmy Connors, he was one of my favorites.

This was fun - I especially like that you kept it slightly wonky. Leaving the odd curve on one side, and mending the hole were icing on the cake. Imagine, if it all had been perfect - how dull. Thanks for this, K3N
  • I was trying to guess which of the alternate methods you would use. You can also gather on the card and then appliqué down without removing the card. When you clip the back just snip a line across and pull the circle out, and stuff as well, if you only snip a line, you make a ladder st to close the slit. Another alternate is to cut the Circe of felt or wadding, and gather the top circle on that, no need to remove anything at all. Great skill building examples.
  • Thanks Catherine. Such fun to try new techniques. Love your voice. Love your hands. LouAnn Wilde
  • Great tip for the circle appliqué!!! Looks really cute with the tiny darn. ‘We’ actually won 3-0 from Romenia !! Love your Wimbledon story😍💖🍀
  • Perfect timing for this appliqué as I became frustrated with Jeri’s technique and was ready to chuck the poor little circle. I’m not a sports fan but all your stories are wonderful. You’re as great a storyteller as an artist ❤
