The heat will build across southern and eastern areas to end this week, but will there be a heatwave and how long will it last?

It used to be called summer. Why is there deep red danger to death warnings every time we have a halfway hot day now?

It's not nice to work in anything above 30 Celsius... I'm glad that it is not set to last. Cooler weather is more hygienic and better for most folks.

This is great, the Met. Office has splashed the cash and got Lady Galadriel from Lord of the Rings to do the weather forecast . Thank you my Lady❤️. for helping Gandalf And giving us a few days of sunshine 😊

We are very fortunate to have this weather pattern and not to experience what’s happening in Europe. Our old folk aren’t suffering and it’s great for garden. Lovely 🌈🙏😀

Why does 30c show as such a dark red these days? As for heat wave, it's barely a ripple. Why don't we get rain waves?
