"Hard times create strong me"...Alex is a living example of this saying

When Poatan was at the one press conference with Izzy and they first faced off and he says, "Look at me," then nods, '...Saturday," is one of the most badass things i've ever seen. I dunno why, just was.

And now he KO’ed Jamahal Hill for Glover

This is not documentary, this is poetry.

Strickland and Alex training together to beat Adesanya is awesome man

The fact he doesn't speak English I think adds to the mystique Poatan is a warrior chama
  • There’s just something about Alex Perierra that I absolutely love. I hope he learns English soon. Can’t wait for UFC 300.
  • What a monumental job you did by putting countless pieces of clips, interviews in different languages and fight videos together to create this, arguably the best Poatan documentary I've found on YouTube. I know other comments have stated the same, because it's truly amazing what you've done so take everyone of them as a big THANK YOU from us, Alex "Poatan" Pereira's fans. What a story, and what a warrior, a humble, rather silent, shy but gentle giant.
  • This dude is the leanest man I've ever seen in my life, he cuts weight to make 205 yet you can see his ribs and every bone in his body. The man is just built for fighting, he's got to have the lowest body fat % ever. He looks like he's made out of steel, and he moves like a fucking gazelle out there. The thing that makes Alex so dangerous is his mind, he's a thinking, plotting fighter. He's got the best trap set ups for KO's I've ever seen, he's so intelligent in there, thinking 2-3-4 steps ahead of his opponents. Just a once in a life time athlete. The better his TDD is the more unstoppable he becomes.

How Izzy can do what he did after losing 3 times. What he did to Alex’s 5 year old shows that deep down he’s just an insecure boy. To all young MMA fighters….i dare say that most fathers would be instructing them to follow in Alex’s footsteps. Stoic, masculine, quiet….not painting their finger nails and acting like a fool. In the end the money will come by being good at what you do, you don’t need to be a clown. GSP, DC, Anderson Silva, Alex….they didn’t need to make things a side show in order to be successful. It’s refreshing

This video, even it is not Portuguese-Brazilian, has the greatest true and chronological details that I have ever seen.

Humble man, not a trash talker. If Alex retires today, he still must be considered as one of the best combat sports athlete ever. I'm not sure if he will keep the UFC belt for too long, but the history is already writen.
