  • Potassium is not to be concern with ckd. What is raising potassium level in blood is the medication you are taking. God bless you all.
  • If you will excuse me, Doctor, I am a 59-year-old man who suffers from type 2 diabetes, and now I have protein leakage from the kidneys. The question is: What is the appropriate diet sugar for a kidney patient? Also, the food suitable for diabetes and kidney disease together. Thank you very much for your progress

Following you for the last couple of years , and am really grateful all the good scientific info you are providing. I recently find that NAC supplementation in additionto its wonderful benefits , also increase creatine clearance. Can you make a video about it with scientific evidence and recommmended dosage. THANK YOU so much.

Hello Katherine. Can you please show me foods or something from home that I can use and can really help lower creatinine? Thank you so much!
  • Great presentation, Katherine. Although goji berries are indeed something of a superfood, they're also VERY high in potassium. 3 tablespoons contain a whopping 500 milligrams of potassium, so I would suggest limiting your consumption. Do you think my concerns are warranted? I've had to give up dried fruits because they caused my potassium levels to go too high, especially figs and prunes. And, since I've given them up my potassium levels have consistently been in the normal range.

My dietitian suggested protein in high amounts, soda, etc. I do the opposite and I’m making significant progress with my kidney functions. They’re shocked Im on a plant base and doing so well sometimes they tell me to eat more phosphorus foods because my phosphorus is so low and I’m on dialysis. And no, I don’t have a condition that causes it to be low. I just manage my food intake and the foods that I eat really well.

Katherine, how can I render your services as a coach, consultant or dietitian or something of the sort?
  • @larryallen9810
I hear a lot of these conversations which are great but they always say to avoid dialysis, but what’s good to take if you’re already on dialysis or is it too late ?
