Home Improvement: Power Tool Pursuit! is a platformer video game developed by Imagineering and released by Absolute Entertainment for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in November 1994. The game is based on the popular American television sitcom "Home Improvement," which starred Tim Allen as Tim "The Tool Man" Taylor.
The game's plot revolves around Tim Taylor, the protagonist, who finds that a set of valuable tools have been stolen from the set of his show, "Tool Time." Tim must recover the stolen tools by venturing through various themed levels inspired by the show's episodes and settings.

Levels and Environments: The game features a variety of levels set in different environments, including a construction site, a haunted house, and prehistoric times. Each level is filled with enemies, obstacles, and puzzles.
Enemies and Bosses: Tim encounters a range of enemies such as dinosaurs, mummies, and other themed adversaries depending on the level. Each level typically concludes with a boss fight.
Tools and Weapons: Tim uses various power tools as weapons, including nail guns, chainsaws, and blowtorches. These tools can be found or earned throughout the levels and are used both for combat and solving puzzles.
Items and Power-Ups: Players can collect items like health packs, extra lives, and special tool upgrades. These items help Tim survive the increasingly challenging levels.
Controls and Mechanics
Players control Tim (Ritter) with standard platformer mechanics, including running, jumping, and crouching.
Each tool has a specific function and method of attack, adding a layer of strategy to how players approach enemies and obstacles.
Platforming: The game requires precise jumping and timing to navigate through the levels, avoid hazards, and reach the end of each stage.
Graphics and Sound
The game features colorful, cartoonish graphics that reflect the comedic and light-hearted tone of the television show. The character sprites and backgrounds are detailed and varied across the different levels.
Soundtrack: The music and sound effects are reminiscent of the show's theme, with catchy tunes and humorous sound bites adding to the overall experience.

Home Improvement: Power Tool Pursuit! received mixed reviews from critics. While some praised the game for its humor and faithful adaptation of the TV show, others criticized its difficulty, controls, and overall gameplay mechanics. Despite this, it has a niche following among fans of the series and retro gaming enthusiasts.

Overall, Home Improvement: Power Tool Pursuit! is a quirky and challenging platformer that brings the world of "Home Improvement" to life on the SNES, offering a unique gaming experience for fans of the show.
